"How could it be your fault," Kirishima asked. "You can't blame yourself for him going missing." Katsuki was holding in so many emotions that he couldn't pin point how he really felt.
"I said something to him before he disappeared," Katsuki said, his voice breaking in the process. "I told him he was pathetic and I don't know why I did." The way he held himself now compared to how he used to was completely different. His confident ego was no longer there, and his face showed great sadness.
"You'll have to forgive yourself at some point," Kirishima said. "But I'm here for you."
Over the next two years Katsuki would learn to forgive himself for his actions.
