Clathea's Point of View

       The door was now block with Shane's face.

"Thea? Hello? Okay ka lang? May kausap pa ba ako?" she complained. Tumingin din siya sa pintuan dahil gusto niyang mausisa kung ba't kanina pa naka-plaster ang tingin ko do'n.

"Ano mayro'n?" she asked, after landing her sight sa door, she immediately looked back at me.

Nang hindi ako makasagot lantaran ang pagkunot ng noo niya.

"Ano nga mayro'n? Bakit kanina ka pa nakatingin sa pinto? Trip mo ba teacher natin?" ngayo'y sunod-sunod niyang tanong. Pabiro pa 'yong huling tanong niya.

Bago ko pa man siya sagutin ay biglang may umupo sa kaliwang banda ko.

Mr. Riu Kazuo.

"May inaabangan kasi s'ya." Kailan pa niya naging gawain na makisawsaw sa pagsisiyasat ni Shane?

"Who?" Shane being the queen of interrogation.

"Taong sabik na sabik niyang makita pero 'di naman papasok sa pintuang 'yan."

Mabilis pa sa tatlo ko siyang tiningnan ng masama.

"Anong sabi mo?"

He let out a small smirk and took her oblicon book. Wow, the audacity!

Dali-dali kong tiningnan ang ismis pati na rin ang email ng program head. Apat na estudyante lang pala ang nailipat sa class schedule na 'to at wala si— Damn! The deception, ah. I won't forget this Riu.

Babatukan ko na sana si Riu nang biglang pumasok ang teacher namin. Balik ka muna Sir. May kakatayin pa akong estudyante mo.

"So, you're expecting him?"

"Shut up."

Kumawala ng bahagyang ngisi ni Shane matapos makuha ang punto ng usapan namin ni Riu. Nang magsalita ang teacher namin ay nakinig na kami ng maayos.

This subject is called Law on Obligations and Contracts. In this course, we have three sets of law subjects; law on obligations and contracts, Business Laws and Regulations and Regulatory Framework and Legal Issues in Business.

Some of the students pursuing accountancy course wanted to be a lawyer someday and these subjects are helpful and will driven their sentience about the field they are going to deal with in the future.

Do I like lawyer as my profession? I can't actually pictured myself being a lawyer but if there's a time and chance, why not? Maybe the real reason why I can't see myself being like that is because of the difficulties I'm having with my undergrad course. You know what I mean?

It's so hard to envision things if you have doubt and unsure about your present. You're being stuck, figuring out when and how to move forward. Our program head always reminding us that envisioning your future gives you something to focus on. Envisioning your future allows you to get a visual of the reality and it will be based on the choices you are making now.

See? Present is very important. It's crucial yet I'm ignoring it.

We have not discuss any proper lesson. He only gave us orientation and discussed his policies for his class. Is he a strict teacher? Based on my impressions, no. Still, it will not guarantee the fully entrustment I should make based on impressions. First impressions aren't always reliable. In real life, the "cover" of people, what they select for their clothes, the way they present, the way they talk, their behaviors can often misrepresent what they really are. It can be inaccurate and not as true as what it really is.

The next morning, the three ladybugs gather for some ethics discussion. This subject is really trying my "Paano ka ma-impress Sir sa Oral Recitation?"
