Chapter 2

Josie POV

"You think she's going to say yes?" Hope asked
"I know she is, she literally has a crush on the guy. It's kind of cute" I say

We both shared a smile and then jade came up to us.

"Hey jos" jade says before kissing me on the cheek
"I'll see you in class" Hope said before walking away awkwardly

I have to ask her about that later.

"What was that about?" Jade asked
"I have no idea. But..... I was thinking maybe you and I could go to the dance the following Friday" I say

"I would love too" she says
"I thought you were going with Hope and mg" she added
"I was but mg said we should get dates for this dance and he is over there trying to get his date, I got mine and now we need Hope to get hers" I said

"Well there is this girl named maya I don't know if you know her but I could set them up" jade says
"Oh- hopes not into girls. She's straight" I said

"She could have fooled me." Jades says
"Besides we are setting her up with Rafael, she agreed to go with him" I said

*bell rings*

"Well, I will see you in 6th period?" Jade asked
"Sure" I said before she gave me a kiss on my cheek

I hurried into class and seen that mg was sitting by Lizzie so maybe that was a good thing and I went to sit next to Hope.

Hope POV

After jade came over I left.

It's not that I don't like jade. It's that I don't think she is good enough for Josie. I am very overprotective about my family and friends and I still don't think Lizzie is good enough for mg but I would never tell them that because that's disrespectful and I want to respect their relationships even if I don't agree with it most of the time.

Mg walked in with Lizzie, hand in hand.

That must means well.

Soon josie walked in and sat next to me.
"Where's the teacher?" She asked
"I don't know" I said with a small smile
"What's up with you today?" She asked
"What are you talking about?" I asked
"You seem more tense than usual" she says
"I actually need to talk to you about that after school" I said
"What's wrong?" She asked

Before I could respond the teacher walked in.

"Hello, everyone. Today we are going to be starting our monthly projects. Although it's simple I still want you guys to work in pairs" he says

Everyone cheered

"Settle down everyone. I'm making the pairs" he says

Everyone boo'd at him.

"Yeah yeah" he says
"Pairs are, Lizzie and Rafael, mg and Alyssa, Hope and Josie........" the teacher was saying

I honestly stop listening when she said me and josie.

I have been getting really tensed around her lately and I don't know why. It's like something about her that make my hormones go on overdrive. I would never tell her or anyone that but it's true. Plus josie and I ate strictly friends, and she's happy with jade.
