belly
a poem
she sat in the belly
of the beast
with no way out.
then there were these
three other girls who also
lived in other beasts' bellies.
they would
reach out to each other
despite their captivity.
until one day, they
each pushed so hard
that they burst out.
and this is how their friendship
began, relishing in their
rebirth.
