jihoon's pov
i'm currently on my bed, staring at the ceiling. i have no idea why i can't just close my eyes and go to dreamland. is it because i'm hungry?

hmm..

yeah probably.

i went downstairs and looked around, mom's finally sleeping early huh.. that's good. i approached the fridge and opened it, i hummed for a long time thinking of what i should eat for the night.

how about.. some ice cream?

...

getting some ice cream was a good a idea. now that i have to finish the whole thing, i'm gonna be quiet for about an hour.

now.. what shall i think about?

without even realizing it, my thoughts suddenly went to junkyu who was acting in a weirdly way as possible. it was a new experience to meet someone like him. i wonder what our future holds.

a felt the vibration next to me and quickly turned to know what it was. oh, someone's calling.

you called?

// mhm.. we just finished.

ah.. are you walking alone? where are you now?

// uhh.. in front of the school building. and yeah.. i'm walking alone. my partner already left, soooo-

eh?? just like that?

// he left minutes ago. i think there was an emergency or something.

mhm.. i'm not sleepy yet, can i go with you and walk or probably ride together going home?

// yeah, sure.

okay, be there in a minute.

i put the cap back and placed it inside the fridge. i changed my clothes and quickly went to hyunsuk.

"yo." he turned into my direction and hummed in response. we started walking side by side, he was quiet, i didn't say a thing either.

after a few minutes, i spoke up, "hey, suk?" he hummed, "how are you?" he chuckled, "i'm fine." i pouted, "that's it? don't you wanna say anything further?"

"hmm.. not really. let's just enjoy walking." i nodded in response and took a deep breath. i can see him smiling in the corner of my eye and it made me smile too.

we arrived in front of hyunsuk's house, he opened the door but he didn't enter. "what's the matter?" he turned to me, "do.. you wanna come in?" i smiled brightly after that, "yeah!"

i made myself comfortable on his bed, not letting him have a single space to sit or lie on. "ah, yah! give me some space too!" he tried to scoot himself on the bed but i didn't let him to, "this is my bed, you know." i laughed, "it doesn't have your name on it." he sighed, i thought he already gave up trying but then he suddenly stood up and climbed on me, my chest was more pressed on the bed.

"y-yah, you're killing me!" he just laughed at me and made himself comfortable on top of me. "i'm literally going to shove you off and bring you to the floor if you don't get off me." i waited for an action to happen but he just pretended that he didn't hear anything. "yah! are you sleeping??" i tried to lift him up and push him beside me but he wouldn't budge.

i still tried to lift him up and when i did, i suddenly lost my strength and now he's still on top me but my back is now pressing on the bed and my chest on his back.

surprisingly, he made himself more comfortable on me. "suk, what do you want me to do here..?" i could see his closed eyes with a calm face. he still haven't answered my question and i started to feel tired.

it's 12:07 am and my eyes started closing on their own, i wanted to open them but it looks like its forcing me to close it. i gave up trying and yawned. i placed my arm on hyunsuk's chest and snuggled instead.

third pov.

a soft smile appeared onto hyunsuk's lips and moved next to jihoon cause he might be suffocating.

staring onto jihoon's sleeping face, he reached for his cheeks but hesitated. instead, he gently caressed his hair and drifted to dreamland.

he whispered, "goodnight, ji."
