"Okay everyone, wrap up." A week of our research with a bundle of calculations jotted on the number of white boards without any signs of progress, had ticked the clock. It was Christmas Eve today and we were quite exhausted to our zenith.
The only thing that we seemed to have come to was the gamma value's function in the dispersion permeability. I mustn't say this, but I had lost my hope to be able to find it when I lost my pendant but maybe, it wasn't about the pendant ever.
I cleared my throat and took my glasses off. I was overworked today and my muscles ached. Addelyn and Soobin had requested me to return last night, but I was dedicated to my dream. This dream was one day what I used to see when I slept. And now, it's a dream that doesn't let me sleep.
The girls were debating upon the neighborhood we should go today and I couldn't help but smile at that.
"No God! Estoy harto de visitar el mismo lugar repetidamente.(I am sick of going to the same place.)" Addelyn spoke in her Spanish accent, as her crime partner competed her with a similar level of speech.
"No te estoy persuadiendo de que vayas allí a comer. Solo quiero las decoraciones navideñas. (I am not persuading you to go there to eat. I just want the Christmas decorations.)"
"AHH! Está bien. Decidiremos adónde ir basándonos en el juego de piedra, papel y tijeras. ¿Okey? (It's okay. We will decide where to go based on the rock-paper-scissors game. Okay?)" I paused their tug of war and raised my hands, forming the speaker of the game.
We all started shaking our hands, decided to win and suggest. I wasn't aware of the best places here, but I did know somewhere, where Y/n wouldn't be dissatisfied.
"Ready? Go!" I gave the green signal and waited for everyone to open a rock. Something that I learnt from them was that the girls copied eachother when there was a third player, the Choi bros copied eachother when there was a third player and Yeonjun copied Addelyn when there was a third player. At this rate, all were going to copy Y/n, who has a tendency to remain with rock.
"Aah! I won!" I laughed at them. I knew there strategy and winning was a piece of cake, I love, for me.
"Did we all throw rock?" Soobin laughed and looked at me, understanding the theory I used to win.
"He won on our mental synchronization." Huffed Addelyn.
"Which means, he's the imposter." I smirked at Soobin. He can't deny that I won, whatever was my strategy, it may.
"So where are we going?" Asked Y/n.
"I want to drive through the whole night tonight. We worked well, and right now, why not enjoy?" I placed my suggestion.
"I like that idea." Hearing Y/n give a heads up to my plan, I knew the just perfect things I wanted to do. Maybe telling her about my heart was too early, but giving her small hints wouldn't cause us any harm.
