The Cool Breeze of Summer

Giyu POV

It was 11:23 AM

I was walking down the street into one of the local shops to grab a bite to eat before heading back home. I've been thinking lately I need to change my life for the better. I've finally made the decision to be social and make more friends so that will start today.

"Eh. Lemme have a sandwich thank you"

I'd ask the cashier for a sandwich with a still uncomfortable tone as I usually never said more than "Sandwich" and patiently awaited my food 

"Thank you for the food" I'd say and grab my things heading for the door 'What a nice summer breeze' I'd think to myself while waking to my car

"Alright as soon as I get home I'll see if anyone wants to hang out" I'd say checking my phone and looking at Kocho's contact for a second then looking away 

 I'd get in my car and place my things down before closing the door and starting the car 

What should I listen too? Ah I know" I'd say in a happier tone doing what I usually do

I'd switch between radio stations and find something I liked before speeding off back home

Shinobu POV

It was 11:42 AM

"Kanae! I forgot a towel can you bring me one!" I'd yell out for my sister

 I'd be showering after waking up later than usual and had forgotten to bring myself a towel to the shower 'Dammit Kanae' Kanao would bring a towel in for me and lay it near the shower before exiting the bathroom. I'd step out of the shower and grab the towel drying myself off and walking back to my room to change clothes. 

Giyu POV

It is now 12:12 PM

I'd arrive home and walk inside setting my food down on the table and grabbing out my phone leaning over the counter and going to my messages

"Right then Giyu this is no sweat just ask them if they want to hang out" I'd say to myself and click on Kocho's contact first and begin typing

𝗚: 𝗛𝗲𝘆, 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲?

"Right then if sh- Wait I texted Kocho! Oh god." He'd become extremely flustered and start blushing 

'Smart move Giyu ask HER of all people to hang out' he'd put his phone down and begin eating his food waiting for a response. After finishing his food he'd grab his phone and go to the living room to watch a movie before getting a text and checking it.

Shinobu POV

12:21 PM

'Hm a text from Giyu? Guess I'll see what he said' I'd think to myself grabbing my phone and unlocking it to see what he said

"Oh he wants I hangout ehh I've got nothin better to do I guess" i'd say to myself while typing back to him

I'd set my phone down and walk over to the window and look out of it while brushing my hair out then walk over to my closet looking for something casual to wear before I go with Giyu 'Wonder why he's asking all of the sudden, guess I'll find out'

I'd picked out some casual clothes and set them down waiting for his response

Giyu POV

12:24 PM

'Oh she responded' I would think to myself grabbing the phone and thinking for a second before typing

𝗚: 𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝟭:𝟰𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻.

"That should be good" I'd say to myself and put down my phone.

I'd get up and walk to my room to look through my closet for clothes leaving my phone on the couch 'Wonder what I should wear' I'd look through my closet thinking to myself before grabbing some stuff and walking to the bathroom to get ready

"At least she said yes." I'd say to myself while messing with my hair and getting my clothes on 'I should take a shower' I'd start the shower thinking to myself and take my clothing off before jumping in and washing myself. 'Wonder what we should do.' I'd think while getting out of the shower and then redoing my hair and getting my clothes on after drying myself and walking out of the bathroom into the living room.

Shinobu POV

1:12 PM

"Alrighty then I'll go wait for him outside" I'd say walking downstairs and opening the door to the outside and breathing in the fresh air. "Ahhhh I love summer." I'd say to myself before sitting down and pulling out my phone scrolling around waiting for Giyu 'Maybe I should call him' I'd say going to his contact and pressing the call button

Giyu POV

1:14

I'd look at my phone and see a call from Kocho and pick the phone up answering the call 

G: Hey Kocho I'm in my car should be nearly there

S: Okay Tomioka just asking bye bye now

I'd look at my phone to see the call hung up and continue driving to Kocho's house
