I got a lot to say about this one

this song is the best song ever sang, and written, fight me i dare you.

anyway so child, this song goes hard.

this, a song by poor man's poison that is a mixture of rock and bluegrass the song is suggested to be about Covid, but I personally believe that the song is about people proudly working under a tyrant. I believe this because for one, machine could be a metaphor for the government. The lyrics also have meanings pointing to the interpretation. For example,

Let's all just blindfold the poor
We must remind them what's in store
We got 'em now
Just break them down a little bit more

this could be governments lying to the citizens, telling them to worship a dictator, and threatening them with brutal punishments. check these lyrics out:

He's got the whole world in his hands
It was nice to know ya
We've all been dammed c'mon!

"He's got the whole world in his hands" could reference how some government leaders convince their citizens that they are gods. it could also be referencing how most dictators control everything in a country while shutting down all access to other nations. "We've all been dammed" could also be a reference to punishment or judgement for obeying the orders of a cruel leader.

Nothing's going on, no need to fear
And we're all in this together
And just to make it all clear
We want the same thing as you
This will all be over soon
Now here's a little pill
Now here's the truth

this whole stanza could be showing how dictatorships blatantly lie to their people, telling them everything wrong, telling them what's the truth when it's really just another lie. the song itself, like other songs by poor man's poison, is a mixture of rock, bluegrass, metal, blues, and other genres and as a person who's listened to melodic death metal and funk, i thought the music was different to what I was used to and it really shows that YouTube recommendations aren't always extremely useless.
