*Todoroki's POV*

Todoroki was with Togata the first time that he saw him.

Izuku...

The boy looked so scared when he ran out of that dark alleyway. He had locked eyes with the bi-colored haired boy before practically jumping into his arms.

Todoroki, unsure of how to respond, looked at Togata for answers as the green haired boy clutched him tightly, though Togata was just as confused as Todoroki.

"Are...Are you okay?" Todoroki asked. The green haired boy let go of Todoroki and looked him in the eye, his green eyes so full of fear and pain as tears threatened to leak out of them.

"H-Help me...please..." He said softly.

Todoroki noticed the scratches, scars, and bruises that covered the boy's arms, legs, pretty much any visible part of his skin was marked in some way. The boy was also extremely skinny, like he didn't get food often.

"Izuku, you know you aren't supposed to run off like that." A voice said from the alleyway the boy had just come from. The boy's eyes widened with fear and he clutched Todoroki's shirt tighter, as though he was holding on for his life.

Todoroki and Togata looked up. The two of them froze. Standing in front of them was a suspected member of The League of Villians.

"There you are, come on now, let's not bother these boys, they look like they are busy." The man said. The boy buried his face in Todoroki's shoulder.

The man looked up and met Todoroki's eyes.

"Sorry about Izuku, he's just a fan of yours. He saw you fight at the sports festival, it's Todoroki right? You're Endeavor's kid?" The man asked casually.

"Yeah." Todoroki responded, "Who is this kid to you?"

"He's my son. He's quite the troublemaker." The man said.

"Why is he so beaten up?" Todoroki asked.

"We're working on training him with his quirk, he still doesn't have control over it so it takes a toll on his body. It doesn't help that he's a bit clumsy." The man responded.

"Why is he so scared of you?" Todoroki asked. The man looked at the boy, Izuku, before looking back at Todoroki. Todoroki put a protective arm around Izuku.

"You see, he got himself into trouble, I won't go into detail as it is a family matter but he decided rather than owning up to his mistake and excepting his punishment he decided to run away." The man said. He looked back down at Izuku.

"Now Izuku, you know what happens when you disobey. Come here, now." The man said, his voice going a little more stern than it had before.

Izuku looked up at Todoroki his eyes filling with fear, then he looked back at his "father" before slowly backing away from Todoroki and walking to the man.

Todoroki went forward to go after Izuku but Togata put an arm on him, keeping him from pursuing the boy.

"That's a good boy. Now come along, we should get you home." The man said, he turned to look at Todoroki and Togata.

"Sorry for bothering you, young heroes. Good day." He said before the two of them turned and walked back down the alleyway, the man putting a hand on Izuku's shoulder to keep him from running again.

Once they were out of sight Todoroki turned to Togata.

"Why did you stop me, he was a villian and that boy was clearly in trouble." Todoroki said.

"It isn't smart for the two of us to pick a fight with a top tier villian. Especially out in the open with so many bystanders nearby. Believe me, I wanted to help the boy too, but we should report back to Sir Nighteye, he'll want to know what happened here." Togata said. Todoroki nodded, still looking down the alleyway.

The two of them began walking once again, making their way back to Sir Nighteye's agency.

*Time Skip*

"So you're saying a member of The League of Villians has a child?" Sir Nighteye asked.

"Well, that's the thing, we don't know. They didn't really look similar, not to mention the fact that the boy was scared of the villian." Togata said.

"Well, we don't know for sure he is a member of the League, so you two did the right thing by not starting any violence. Though the news of the boy is concerning. What did you say he called him again?" Sir Nighteye asked.

"Izuku." Todoroki responded. Sir Nighteye turned to his computer and began typing.

"Izuku...I know I've heard that name somewhere..." He muttered. Then his eyes lit up slightly.

"Did you happen to hear the name Midoriya?" Sir Nighteye asked.

Todoroki and Togata exchanged a confused look.

"No, just Izuku." Togata said.

Sir Nighteye stood up and walked across his office to a filing cabinet labeled "Missing People Reports"

He dug through the cabinet for a moment before pulling out a file and walking back to his desk. He sat down and opened the file, pulling out a picture and showing it to the boys.

"Is this the kid you saw?" Sir Nighteye asked.

The picture showed a young boy, no older than five, with messy green hair, green eyes, and freckles. The boy was smiling wide, like he has just been giving a large candy bar.

"Yes, that's him!" Todoroki said quickly.

"Then this is more serious than we thought. That boy was kidnapped when he was young, All Might and I were leading the case to find him when it happened, I guess All Might knows his mother, so he promised to look for the boy, but we were never able to find him. We assumed he was dead." Sir Nighteye said.

"We need to help him! Who knows what the league will do with him?" Todoroki said.

"It's safe to say that they won't kill him. They've obviously kept him around for a reason. I suspect it likely has to do with his quirk, though we were never sure what his quirk actually was. I will speak with other agencies and heroes and we can arrange a rescue." Sir Nighteye said.

"We want to help." Todoroki said. Togata nodded in agreement.

"It's too dangerous, we're talking about breaking into a villian compound. And while we don't know for sure that he's with the league or not, it's still not a place for heroes in training." Sir Nighteye said. Todoroki slammed his hand down on the desk.

"I don't care! Were wrapped up in this now too. We should be allowed to help!" Todoroki snapped.

Sir Nighteye stared at Todoroki for a moment, then sighed.

"Fine. When we end up rescuing the boy, you may come along, but if things get too dangerous, you will leave and get to safety while the pro's take care of it. I'll have one of my sidekicks contact you when we find out where they are keeping the boy." Sir Nighteye said. Todoroki let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in.

"Thank you Sir." Togata said, "We should get back to our dorms now. We have class in the morning."

Sir Nighteye nodded and looked back down at the file, before grabbing his phone dialing a number as the two younger boys walked out.

________
I know I'm not that good at this sort of set up stuff, but it will get better soon. Like I said in the book description, I still new to this Fandom so if I got anything wrong, feel free to let me know.

Also, the person who kidnapped Midoriya isn't a villian in the show, he's a random character that I made up, just so I didn't accidentally mess up some actual villian in the show, so he's just some guy who's associated with the league of villians, though they don't know that he's associated with them yet.
