Dawn, The female nightfury

So, as some may know I had this story original published on Qoutev I did announce that I was switching it over to Wattpad, I will no longer be using Qoutev anymore though, so don't expect me to update it from their.
I'm also doing minor (ok maybe major--) tweaks to the story as I read through it and found it.. Ever.. Eveerrr.. So slightly kind of cringe----

Hi, so well, I guess this is a story about me.. Um, my name is dawn, I'm a nightfury..
Fun fact! I haven't seen another one of my kind in nine years!.. Heh..-
I did go searching before.. That was about three years ago, so yeah, I kind of have up after six years..
Oh! I do remember hearing a nightfury roar at one point but it was a roar of pain.. And above a village so I kinda doubt they're still alive..-
Well, um, I guess my last statements is that I have violet eyes and a bluish black scale coloration, I'm also half blind! So.. yeahhh...-
Well enough about me let's continue!

~1st person POV, Dawn~

I flew along the oceans surface, the sun may have been out but I knew too be careful as I flew back to a rather small island.

I landed in a small meadow that was hidden by a ring of trees, a small stream and water fall going through the middle of it.

I took some water in my mouth moving my head up swallowing the water and going to lay on the soft grass.

I saw a small opening between the dense trees seeing the light of the sun on the sea, it was kinda of blinding but I couldn't help but wonder how far it goes.

As I laid in the grass feeling the sun rays hit my black scales, a soft blue glare shown from the black scales as I laid.

I slowly fell asleep, the sun fading to a black might sky as I yawned slowly drifting off to a peaceful sleep.

~Next Day~

I woke up to the warm sun rays on my face. Yawing as I lifted my head yawning rather loudly I couldn't help but notice.. A rather unfamiliar sent.

My head shot up lowly growling as I looked around. A low growl as my fight or flight response shot through my brain not knowing which to pick.

Eventually choosing the flight response with a flap of my wings I was at least ten feet in the air, and rising.

That was till I heard something shoot up into the air going much faster then me.

The object tangling my wings and closing them shut. I roared loudly upon this as I heard footsteps.

Loading a plasma blast moving my head to look over seeing three dragon hunters.

Shooting a plasma blast at them I roared loudly as a cry for help, though knowing I won't get a response.

I felt a weight push my head down and give me the inability to fire from the harm of my own being.

Traces of smoke from my mouth rose as I felt a muzzle go around my head and render me unable to open my mouth.

Next thing I knew.. I blacked out.
