Milo was humming as he walked through the door, and his mom couldn't help but notice the slight jump in his step.
"How was your day Milo?" She couldn't help herself.
"It was great! There was this new kid!"
"Oh yeah?" She said, a bit worried. The sight of her baby boy getting all excited over a possible friend was always incredible, but now after seeing him when kids gave up trying to be his friend. Well, it didn't give her much hope that Milo would make any more friends.
"Yeah! His name is Zack, and as far as first impressions went, he proved he could take on Murphy's law," just thinking about today made him smile, and he could feel his cheeks feel warm that came as a surprise to Mrs.Murphy. She had only seen her son blush whenever he had a crush.
Aww~
"I also gave him a tour of the school, which was eventful, and we shared lunch too," and as Milo said this, Mrs.Murphy didn't miss Milo playing with the collar of his shirt.
"Sounds like you had a blast," she said, finally concluding that her baby was probably developing a crush.
"Yeah, I did!" I Milo said, laughing a little.
He said he'd see me tomorrow, I hope Zack sticks around, and if he doesn't, well then, at least I did give a cute guy a school tour.
|Later that night|
Zack was lying in bed, and while staring at the wall, he recalled the hectic yet exciting day he had, and he recalled Milo.

ZACK'S POV
I was the new kid at the bus stop. The other kids didn't speak, which makes sense. Most people don't talk till they get on the bus, if at all. But here came another guy in shorts and a sweater vest. As soon as he was next to me, the other kids scooted away. I got curious and asked him, "what's that all about?" Gesturing to the trio.
"Oh, your new here," he said with half-lidded eyes.
"I have a bit of a reputation," he said casually with a smile but didn't elaborate.
"So, what are you? A tough guy?"
"Oh, I don't think anyone's ever called me tough; I'm Milo," He introduced himself, and as I shook his hand, the others once again chimed in, warning me about Milo right after I introduced myself.
"So what exactly is this reputation?" I asked, and he mentioned whatever the J-word is. After Milo quoted his dad, I can only assume one of his friends proceeds to also step back from Milo. I get slightly worried as everyone is at a cautious distance from him.

ZACK'S POV
The answer was obviously yes, and we ended up running away from a wolf wearing a beehive, landing on a boat, and falling from a cliff. Although we did make it to school and on time, thanks to two aliens?
That was unbelievable.
But the whole day was unbelievable.
Milo was unbelievable.
I kept thinking about the question he asked me when we were in the sewers.
"You want to live like those other kids?"
I ended up following Milo.
I did stick around the whole day and survived. It seems Milo's pretty fun to be around; well, in general, he seemed like a nice guy. I hope he likes me, and if not? Well, on the bright side, a cute guy gave me a tour of the school!
