Touch of death Tripleston and Divine background story

An unfriendly/friendly visit *Divine *

I came down the stairs and into the foyer there was Tripleston standing at the door with his head down

"I brought you a card," he said. He showed me a card with a teddy bear on the front I stared at it for a long time I was enjoying the look on Triplestons face I liked how he looked nervous and guilty when I didn't speak for awhile he spoke

"Listen today in the hallway I went too far I shouldn't have said that I didn't know that your dad was dead I promise I'm really sorry and I sincerely apologize"

I hadn't looked at him the whole time he was speaking. I finally looked up "really?" I said raising an eyebrow "you think that makes up for years of bullying years of making my life miserable you think that i'll just forget the last 9 years of heck that you put me through" I chuckled "there is no way in heck that I will forgive you"

He stared at me intensely studying me it made me uncomfortable finally he spoke "there's no way I can make up for what I did to you I can never even begin to say how terribly sorry I am now I understand if you never forgive me I wouldn't forgive me but please I hope you really understand that i'm sorry" he looked at me with those pitiful eyes again I stared right back at him finally he realized I wasn't going to say anything and he started to turn away
