Summer doesn't last forever...smiling faces...bright sun...laughter and joy, there's no light at the end of the tunnel...at least not in Riverdale.

"Betty could you read this story I wrote..?" I asked my blonde haired girlfriend. Betty sits beside me and takes a look.

"Jug..there are so many spelling errors.." She says reading through. 

"I'm sorry..I just...I haven't been able to focus.." I say a bit tense. The truth was I met Veronica, she makes me so nervous..

"Oh.." Betty says, we sit in awkwardness.

|Veronicas POV|

"this dress?" Cheryl says, I was at her house for a sleepover.

"They all look fine.." I mumble boredly.

"oh Ronniekins, What's wrong?" Cheryl asks facing me.

"Nothing.." I say, all I could think of was Jughead Jones.

"Veronica it's obviously something"

"Cheryl..I...Jughead-"

Cheryl smirks.
