chapter 10: (timeskip chapter also info dump)

it has been two years since i joined the asterian forces i had changed much in my time here no longer was the little boy who hated the world now i was someone you didn't want to be trifled with my appearance also changed significantly my hair for instance was a bit longer and very messy

i mastered the duel sword style and was given two blades one blade was purple the other green inspired by my eva which i still used

i had met my squad mates there was alyndra and her invoker israfiel no introductions needed there

there was also two noble women the first was named madelyn McFarland she was a purple haired purple eyed girl very confident in her abilities but not to a cocky level thankfully

she was a very outspoken girl but extremely loyal to her squad especially shinji who she had feelings for which i had noticed however my heart still belonged to asuka i hoped she had changed by the time i come home her invoker was a very quiet woman named leliel with pure white hair she like every other woman around me is in love with me however on that note she unlike every other woman is content with just being my friend

the second was a reddish blond haired woman named skylar pierce she was a very haughty woman and like with madelyn and practically every other girl that knew me she was madly in love with me

her invoker was a very submissive and like leliel quiet with black hair she prefers to be in the darkness and in dark confines she is also a bit of a masochist which helps her masters sadism they work well together when skylar isn't torturing her invoker she also often likes to fantasize shinji being the one to torture her as her master does it

graduation was coming up and the four inquisitors and their invokers were on their way to meet the woman they chose as the captain of their flagship for the delta vanguard fleet (or DVF) they had spent three months going over candidates all of them could agree on shinji didn't even take part in the choosing since if he had his way it would have been misato the woman they had chosen was a pleasant brown haired woman who had a years experience they chose her though because she was their age meaning hopefully she'd understand they were in charge and could overrun any order she gave

"captain kiriko kawata reporting my lords" kiriko said the girls had gotten used to being called lord they preferred my lady but shinji found it insulting he was not a girl so they dealt with being called lord since their were plenty of women with that title

"good on ya captain" alyndra said pleasantly the rest looked like they didn't want to be here shinji who had accepted ayako as his partner and adapter was late for their scheduled training and it annoyed him the madelyn had to get to her parents party which she had to attend being a noble had it's responsibilities and skylar simply thought it was a waste of time

"captain i'm gonna be honest with you since i believe it's only fair to mention unlike these three i have had personal experience with an operations and field commander before and she was damn good at her job so you have very big shoes to fill if you want me to see you as anything but a necessity" i said

"understood lord inquisitor i shall do my best to meet your expectations" kiriko said i nodded

"see that you do" i said

"you've grown cold shinji" alyndra said

"she has yet to prove herself i wasn't kidding misato was damn good at her job if i had my way she would get this position" i said

"i mean when you go back you could induct her and give her the position" madelyn said
