"Kristin?"

"Oh- hi XD."

"I have a little job for you."

"A job..?"

"Yes. I've found a way to solve our little... problem."

"And how is it?"

"Simple. You have to sign this scroll."

He handed her the scroll and she began to read what was inside.

There wasn't much written inside.

'The gates will close once the guardian enters the realm.'

That's all that was written inside.

"Guardian?"

"Yeah? I'm kinda lost on that one too. I think it's about becoming a new guardian of the realm or something. I'm not sure."

He hummed, eyes glued to the piece of ancient paper in her hands.

"Are you sure it's a good idea, XD? We could ask-"

"Absolutely. Believe me. There's no need to bother Elders."

She glanced at him, suspicion still rising in her.

But...she could trust him, right?

"Alright, I trust you."

Suddenly, a quill pen came to an existence, summoned by her as she took ahold of it and signed the scroll.

"Thank you for cooperation, Kristin. Goodbye."

Smile was evident in his voice as he spoke.

With that, he left, leaving her in utter silence, with a signed scroll in her hands.

That was before she was teleported to the Other side.

Confusion was raging in her, but with a spark of curiosity, as she looked around, lost.

The Other Side...it looked quite gloomy.

The place was so dark, it reminded her of her own realm.

The Blackstone under her feet was glinting and slippery.

It rained not too long ago.

And also, the fog was everywhere.

That's not what she expected.
