Idea: Chaeyoung has a daughter, and her daughters father and her split up, leaving them two alone. When her daughters father gets engaged to another woman, they meet.

Chaeyoung has a 9 year daughter, and an ex husband. Yes, Chaeyoung had a husband.

It sounds wrong for Chaeyoung to be straight, but this is how the story goes,

When Chaeyoung was 16, she met a guy, a guy who she fell in love with, a guy who loved her back. They began dating, and after a month, they decided to be stupid, and have sex. This made Chaeyoung pregnant.

They stayed together, luckily he was supportive. When they were adults, they got married immediately, 1 years later, when their daughter was 4, the man that the young child called father told his wife that he realised he wasn't properly ready to be a father, and thought it would be best if the two parents stayed as friends.

Chaeyoung agreed, a she realised she didn't have many feelings for the man either and began having feelings for women. He understood and they parted ways, their daughter visiting her father on weekends when they were free, and living with her mother every other day.

"Eomma, can I stay at dad's?" Chaeyoung's daughter, Heejin asked.

"At the weekend, okay?" Chaeyoung replied with a smile.

"But-" the young girl pouted.

"Baby, I would take you today, but I have work, and your dad is working too" Chaeyoung said, "now come on, let me take you to school"

Heejin continued pouting but grabbed her backpack and stood by her mothers side.

"I know I ask you everyday, but have you got your phone?" Chaeyoung asked her daughter.

"Yes eomma, see" Heejin replied and showed her mother her phone.

They left for school, and Chaeyoung drove to work.

Halfway through the day, she got a message from her ex, who was called, Chanyeol.

Cn: Hey, I know we don't really talk much, but how are you?

Cy: i'm fine, you?

Cn: same, look, I texted just to say that I'm engaged, and would like you and Heejin to meet my fiancé

Cy: oh congrats! Yes, we'll meet her, when?

Cn: is after school okay? Heejin will love to see us both picking her up.

Cy: yeah sure

Chaeyoung put her phone down and checked the time. It was Heejin's lunch.

At the end of the day, Chaeyoung drove to the school and saw her ex.

"Hey" She smiled to him and stood beside him, among the other parents waiting for their kids.

"Where's your fiancé?" Chaeyoung asked.

"In the car, she said she didn't want to come out yet, as we hadn't spoken in a while, she thought it'd be awkward" Chanyeol said and smiled at Chaeyoung, "so how are you? Found anyone?"

"I'm fine, Heejin-i is fine" Chaeyoung said, "I'm still single, but I don't need anyone, I'm happy with it just being me and Heejin"

"At least you're both okay" the young parent's ex replied.

Suddenly, they heard noise, and the students were walking out. The two searched for their daughter, and they saw her walk out, looking for the space her mother always stands in. She saw her mom, and her father.
