Chapter 24: A Death Duel.

3rd POV: Olympus (19th Dec. 7pm)

Olympian Throne room was tense. 14 Gods and a demigod were planning for their victory.
"In my information, Typhoon will not be awake. Only Tartarus can help him to rise from pit. So you will be free, only Giants that are left alive are banes of Big three only. Also there is also Oceanus. With The Primordials. So you can protect Olympus with the help of Elite squad and remaining House army." Percy said.
"Percy we do not have a correct information on the battlefield." Athena asked.
"I think it will be CBH. As there is our Army. They will be trying to destroy our army first" He answered as everyone nodded.

"Tomorrow our army will be enchanted. With the help of spell the highly injured ones will be teleported to infirmary. Let's get there make a hell out in there." Percy said.
"Percy, you are the commander and our wild card. So don't do anything stupid" Poseidon said to his son. Others also agreed with him.
"Let's assume I will be" Percy said.
Everyone glared at Percy for his answer.

At last Percy said.
"Let's go to our army, make them happy" And he mist traveled to camp. After a few minutes Gods also flashed in.
They gathered their army around them.
Zeus nodded to Percy.
"So Guys, Tomorrow our day starts with battle cry, ends with a bloodshed. But I would say, let's make the blood of monster spill in the battlefield. So guys, have your rest today. We will need every ounce of your energy's in your coming day." Percy announced. As everyone go to their beds to sleep.

Except Percy, he took all his weapons out and checked them. He sat at the foot of Thalia's tree waiting for their Army.

Percy POV:

Tomorrow comes my another war.
Its going to be a bloodshed. Many will die, but I need to protect them. And I will. To protect them I need to win this war. And I will. I will win this war for earth, I will win it for all people, I will win it for all demigods, I will win it for my family. I will win it for my Artemis.

Artemis POV:
|Time Skip|Next Morning.

I flashed to camp. And saw all demigods getting ready for their war. I looked for Percy. But I didn't see him. I remembered that he was very tense yesterday.I tried to talk to Percy yesterday night, but he told me to get some rest first.

I watched through every soldiers to look for Percy. I didn't saw him. Finally he came in wearing a same dress he wore.

He came in. I looked at him expectantly.
He just looked at me nodded. I knew he would be tense. But why is he like this.

"Soldiers" He yelled. Everyone became quiet and looked at him.
"Today we are going to a battlefield. Some of us fall. But do not lose your hope. We will fight them and win this war. Today we fight for this world. To save it from darkness, from endless nights. Today we fight for All people, from saving them from the evils. Today we fight for our family, our loved ones. To protect them. So we will win this war. I am going to. If it means myself. I am ready. So who is going to win?" He asked.
"We" The army yelled.

He then walked out from the area of army. I followed him. He was walking towards the beach. I reached to him and caught him. I removed his mask and saw his face. I saw his face. It was sorrow. His eyes weren't shining like they did once.
"What is it Percy?" I asked.
"Nothing Arty" He said. But his voice was horce. I cupped his face and make him look to me.
"Percy you are my love. I know something visit wrong with you. So what is it?" I asked.
"Arty, do you know the specialty of this night?" He asked. I thought about it and got my answer. Darkest night with eclipse of moon. It is a special night which occurs only in many eons.

I got what he was trying to say. They are going to be attack us in full force today. And they will be extremely powerful tonight. I felt very pale now.
"Arty, anything can happen but don't let yourself down. I will be always there for you." He said and kissed me.
"As a soul or body" He whispered at me chuckling. But I got a bad feeling on it.
