First Day of School {Riley POV}

Today is the first day of 7th grade. Some people get that rush, when you wake up and feel as if anything was possible! Ya, I'm not one of them. I'd rather sleep in but don't we all feel that way? Usually, Maya picks me up every morning at 7:00 am so I was eating breakafast until i heard, *Overcome* "Yo losers, its Maya!" Ah, what a warm welcome she gives us "Come on up" I say as I push the overcome button. We went to school and while walking into class I explained to Maya, "I heard the teacher this year is nuts, a total whackjob, I think there is seriously something wrong with him." I turn around. "Hi daddy." I seat in my seat and unpack. Then, Hotty McHotpants walks in. "Yes, subway boy!" He is so CUTE! I wish he were mine. Wait! I have an idea... I should befriend him so that we can be close to eachother than we comnect! Ah, I'm brilliant aren't I. "Hi, Lucas. I don't think I fully introduced myself. Im Riley and this is my mentor-in-training Maya, a.k.a my best friend." "Well hi Riley and Maya I'm glad to meet you two." Lucas says. "*fake cough* Hey, remember me?" A voice from behind me exclams. I say, "Oh right Lucas, this is Farkle our friend who is also in love with us." "And by us she means her and Maya." Farkle says. "Well nice to meet you Farkle." Lucas says. He's nice! Yay! "Ok class settle down please we have things to go over." says dad, or to everyone else, "Mr. Matthews". Ok, we befriended Lucas✔️. Hopefully this love comes naturally to us. I mean, I don't want to force anything.
