Waking up in an unfamiliar setting wasn't a problem for our protagonist who had been a target of gang kidnappings ever since she was associated with Shinichiro Sano, a founder of a well-known gang. She didn't panic and simply observed her surroundings in silence, taking note of her heavily bandaged body.

She was smart enough to know that she was in no condition to fight off her kidnappers, nor was she dumb enough to escape with barely any energy to even sit upwards.

The smartest option was to wait for her kidnappers to show up and state their business with her. While waiting for them, she opted to look around and familiarize the room she was in. Everything seemed to be a picture-perfect copy of an actual bedroom for a western noble. The somewhat vintage yet regal aesthetic made her compliment her kidnapper's style.

It was confusing how someone so wealthy had any problems with Shinichiro, who she'd define as a good person in nature despite his delinquent background.

How did she even end up so injured in the first place? The last thing she remembered was her and Shin binge-watching One Piece late at night. Perhaps she was experiencing temporary memory loss. It was plausible and would explain her headache.

Perhaps she suffered a bad concussion, considering that the objects around her seemed a bit too big.

She couldn't help but wince at the thought of losing a fight. Her reputation as the strongest female delinquent would crumble if everyone found out that she lost in a fight and got heavily injured. The endless teasing from her friends would most likely last for months while destroying the gang responsible for her injuries.

Her lips twitch slightly into a smile. She was getting a bit homesick now and despite how lame it sounded, she wanted to be with her friends because being stuck in a room all alone can leave someone crazy. A companion would've been nice.

Luckily, as if the gods heard her wishes, the door clicks open. The girl couldn't help but blink as the form of a tall butler entered her vision. Her kidnapper must be very wealthy to afford one as uptight and educated as a butler. And much to her surprise, the butler stopped in his tracks the moment he laid eyes on her. A smile spreads her lips at his presence however, having someone else in this room was enough to keep her happy.

That happiness didn't last long though when the butler ran out of the room in a panic.

Now, there were countless possibilities on why he acted that way, but the first thing that came to mind was her body odor. Did she smell that bad? How long was she asleep for him to run out of the room just seconds after entering?
