It had been two years since Hogwarts. Hermione had the baby, it was a boy. She named him after Rich, Hermione had also closed the shop and moved into the Manor with Draco and Scorpius.

Rich Malfoy was her son's name and she couldn't be more grateful. They were engaged and due to marry in a month, Rich's funeral played in her mind everyday. It was beautiful, many of his old friends attended and mourned like she did.

She now visits every Sunday and every Sunday night Draco and Hermione play a game of bullshit in honour of him, using the same cards they used the night Rich 'died' in hospital.

Harry and Ginny had their last child in those two years and Ron became a Professor at Hogwarts after it was rebuilt. Hermione never knew how he could do it, how he could forget about everything but she never said a word.

The hadn't spoken in two years and Hermione is thriving. Hermione and Draco were in their kitchen when Draco's owl hits at the window and Draco went to get it, it was a big looking book.

'Hermione xx'

"What is it?" Draco asked

"I have no idea." Hermione replied taking the book from him

She opened it and opened the book staring at the first few pages inside.

"I guess I'm dead...
I saw you're engaged or married... which ever one.
I'm glad you're over me, my daughter likes you-"

Hermione flicks through the pages

"Hermione,
You named your child over me? That's so fucking cliché.
I saw that, that was a smile.. you should-"

She flicks towards the end, the last page.

Stop flicking through these, read them properly cause this took fucking ages. And yes I probably bribed Draco in some way with what happened even though I'm writing this before it happens.

Have a good life like I did Hermione cause I'm watching you closely. And Theo was right, death is great. I also have my own ice cream now.

How I could see him? Well that's a secret and a mafia boss never tells his secrets. Good bye Hermione Granger."

Hermione closed the book, she didn't know she was crying until Draco said so yet Hermione still had a smile on her face.

"It's Rich, did you know about this?" Hermione laughed

Draco looked but didn't look long enough before he agreed.

"Yeah I knew about that, was wondering when you'd receive it. I helped him with those you know, when you'd fall asleep in hospital" Draco grinned sipping his coffee

"You prat." Hermione laughs

"I didn't know he knew about the marriage thing though. The fucker was psychic" Draco smirked

"That he was and that was because he told us remember. That we'd end up falling madly in love" She smiles

"How could I forget, my new wife is and was always the best" Draco said

Hermione kissed him, they were interrupted by a knock at their front door, it was early in the morning and they weren't expecting anyone. Hermione put her cup of coffee down and walked for the door.

She opened the door and her smile turned into a smug grin as she leant against the door frame, It was Harry and Ron who looked like they were shitting themselves.

"Who is it?" Draco called

"Think dumb and dumber!" Hermione grinned proudly

"No fucking way!" Draco laughs in disbelief

"Hermione." Ron nodded

"Weasley." She said blankly

"I'm here to..."

"Apologise." Harry whispered

"Apologise. I'm here to apologise." Ron smiled

Hermione started to close the door.

"Hermione I am truly sorry, Harry too" Ron said softly

"He can't tell me that?" Hermione said coldly

"I'm sorry." Harry muttered

Draco walked into the doorway and laughed at the looks on their faces

"Why do they look so guilty? It's not like they left us to die." Draco smirks

Hermione laughed.

"Say it." Hermione grinned

"Don't make us-"

"Say it!" Hermione interrupted him

"YOU WERE RIGHT!" They both blurted

"Damn fucking right I was. Right, thank you for the visit but we're quite busy so come back later" Hermione smiles

She closed the door and giggled, Draco kissed her like he was proud of her. Hermione was finally getting what she wanted out of life and she's loving it.
