Emiko's pov:

So after we found out that I had to be on the boys team, we were walking to the gym for practice.

We open the door and I see boys practicing and I look over to see Toru, with the uniform on and number 1, so I assumed that he was the captain.

"Oh, great" I say looking twords Astrid "what, is it that Toru's on the team?" She says "well, ya because all he does is ignore me. So, you know this is going to end well" I say, as we walk in. We put our bags down and walk to the coach.

Toru's pov:

I was practicing when I look over to see Emiko and Astrid at the door and Emiko in our uniform. I had another blush on my face. "She's on our t-team" I think to myself.

"What you looking at?" Kindaichi says "huh? Oh, um just noticed the new members" I say "we have new- girls?" He says "ya, I guess" I say "um, hey Oikawa your um face is really red" he says. I feels my face burning up "um- i- it's nothing, let's just get back to practice" I say trying to change the subject.

"Ohhh, so you have a crush" he says "what- Kindaichi no I don't, shut the hell up" I yell at him "mhm, we'll see about that" he says walking off.

Emiko's pov:

After the coach told us what to do Astrid sat with the coach and I had to go practice with the boys "hey, um Astrid" I say "ya" she says "can you go with me" I say. She has a confused look on her face "why" she says " um, you know there all boys and what if they make fun of me or- or-"

I start, but get cut off by Astrid "seriously, there boys and I know half of them" "ya, but should I just ignore them or-" I say "mhm and where has this goten you"Astrid says referring to Rachel, Veronica, and Becky.

"Ok" I say walking off. I walk over to get a ball and just hit it against the wall. Until I heard someone say "Hey, you, with the black hair" I tryed to ignore it thinking they were talking to someone else "Hey, you, are you deaf or something" they yell.

"No, I am not deaf, I just don't want to talk to you" I whisper. I then see a boy with brown, messy hair, walk up to me " hello" he says "um...yes" I say "what are you doing? Your new on our team correct? I am Hanamaki" he says. I turn towards him and look up at him "I am Pendragon" I say, because I am not going to tell some wannabe boy I just meet my first name.

" How, come your over here and not on the court?" Hanamaki asks "well, because you all look mean and rude and I thought you guys would make fun of me cuz I am a girl" I say "make fun of you?" A boy with light brown hair says "ya" I say "what's your height" a boy with black spiked up hair asked.

"Umm...162cm. Um...5,4" I say "hum, ok. Not bad" the boy with spiked black hair says " how good are you" the boy with light brown hair asked

" Um... last year I think, I won three games and in 7th, I won four" I say "wow" the boy with light hair says. Soon enough all the boys were crowded around me. All except for Toru and Iwazumi I think it was. The only reason I know his name is cuz he is Toru's best friend, but he is standing next to Toru, staring at Astrid.

Astrid's pov:

I was looking at my clipboard when I see someone walking towards me. I look up and it was Iwaizumi. I freaked out and dropped my clipboard. " Oh, sorry I didn't mean to scare you" Iwazumi says "uhh... No it's fine" I says bending down to pick up my clipboard, but I see another hand touch mine, I look up and see Iwaizumi. I feel my face heat up and see his face slightly turn red.

"UMM...I AM SORRY I- I DIDN'T MEAN TO-" I say freaking out, he giggles. I stop freaking out "what?" I ask him " Nothing, it's just Toru always says your annoying, but I think your kinda cute" he says. " Did he just call me cute" I think to myself. I feel my face heat up even more.

"Um..." I then hear someone cough, we both turn around to see Toru with a pissed look on his face " I am gonna go, before he punches me, bye" he says walking off "bye" I saw as my eyes follow him. I see everyone walk back to the court including Emiko and Toru starts walking towards me.

"can I help you" I ask "actually yes, I would like to say that your face looks like a tomato" he says "wha-oh shut it Toru" I say flustered "oww" Toru says giggling, as I hit him with my clipboard "jerk" I say to him.
