Graduation

I sat in the Mystic Grill as I studied a spell Celia made. "Are you sure this is going to work?" Noah asked her making her scoff, "Yes." is all she says before putting her nose back in my grimore and then began writing. "What are you even doing?" I asked her, "Making sure you're prepared, study." She snapped and I nodded looking down at the paper. "Tonight is a full moon, and only tonight can we make this all go away." Celia says and I stayed silent as Noah smirked at me. "Especially now, with Silas incompacitated now is the best chance to do it." Noah commented but no one said a thing.

Suddenly Noah perks up, "Cels." He says and I looked up interested. "We gotta go." he says and flashes over to me to grab my arm. "Why?" I asked. "No time to explain." he said and janks me out of the chair and suddenly im outside as the side of the building we were on blows up. "What the hell." I breathed as Noah then cradled my face, "Are you okay?"

"What are you doing?" Celia asked as I stood in my room modeling my dress for graduation. "We can't do anything until tonight, and I still need to graduate." I tell her, "I've been studying the spell ever since you gave it to me Celia. I'm taking a little break to walk across the stage." I tell her and she smiled and walked over fluffing my curls and looked at me in the mirror over my shoulder.

"Noah, be a dear and get us a drink." she says and turned to him, smirking. He sighed and got off my bed going downstairs. "Now that the trash is taken out, I got you a present." she says and puts my necklace on me that connects me to her. "But the magic in this is gone, you said so yourself." I tell her and she smiles. "I did. But this isn't to power you its to protect you, and the little one." she tells me and I was taken back. "What?" I asked and she placed a hand on my stomach, "But.. how.. The only person I've slept with was.." Then we both say, "Klaus." I couldnt find the words as I stuttered, "B-B-But he's a vampire." I tell him, "They can't procreate." She nods smiling, "But werewolves can, and as long as you're wearing this, no supernatural entity can harm you or the baby."

The students, all in caps and gowns, are milling about the football field getting ready for the ceremony. I walk up as i'm leaving a message on Klaus' voicemail. "Klaus, now is not the time to decide that you are over me. I'm gonna call you every ten minutes until you get your ass here to save Damon's life." I say and hang up as I reach Bonnie and Caroline. "Where is everyone?"

Matt arriving suddenly says, "I'm here." Caroline turns to him, "Where have you been?" Matt chuckled, "Oh, you know, making plans for the summer, dodging death by vampire hunter." Bonnie then asks, "Where's Elena? We can't do this without her." Elena arrives right then with Stefan. "I'm here." She hugs Bonnie. "Thank you for today." "I can't believe it. We're actually all here. We are all here together!" I called out, "Bonnie Bennett, are you crying?" Caroline asked, "It's our last hurrah before you guys go off to college." She tells us, "Before we go off to college." I corrected her, "I...kinda sorta missed the deadline. You know, being an emotionless bitch." Elena says, "Well, the perks of being a vampire – we can go wherever we wanna go. We can choose our own roommates. We could – we could get a Quaduple room!"

Elena and Stefan chuckle at Caroline's enthusiasm, while Bonnie smiles with tears in her eyes. "I'm happy we're all here."Bonnie says, "Aw – group hug!" I called out, "Ah, I don't – I don't hug..." Stefan says anc I scoffed, "Oh, get over yourself!" The six of us close in for a joint hug. Mayor Hopkins opens the ceremony. "Welcome parents, family, and friends. What a beautiful day for a graduation. Thank you for joining us today on this special day, as we celebrate our graduates. So let's get started. John Albrecht. David Bance. Sarah Beasley. Um, not to play favorites, but I am especially proud of this next graduate, my lovely daughter: Bonnie Bennett! Savannah Davis. Matt Donovan. William Duncan. Caroline Forbes. Congratulations. Matt Freeman. Elena Gilbert. Congratulations."

He finally got down to the L's, "Aaliyah Lockwood" He called out and I walked up smiling as he hugged me, "Thank you." I mumbled and he smiled, I turned and held up the diploma smiling wide.

I paced as I once again got Klaus' voicemail. "Niklaus, please." I begged and hung up trying again. I shook my head as I walked over to Stefan, Caroline, and Elena. Suddenly a high-pitched noise causes Stefan, Caroline and Elena to clutch at their heads in pain. Aja and the other dead witches approach them. "Remember us, Caroline?" She holds her arm out, casting whatever spell is hurting the vampires, until suddenly Klaus shows up, throws a cap like a disk at Aja and it beheads her. Her headless body falls to the ground and the noise stops. "There are plenty more of these to go around. Who's next? I can do this all day." I then turn to Klaus, smiling.

Klaus and I stood in his family room, as I cross my arms over my body. "What did you need to talk about love?" he asked, "Why did you leave?" I asked dodging his question. "There was a witch conspiring against me, turns out they had Hayley who is pregnant with my child." He explained and I gasped lightly. "Niklaus." I mumbled and he lifted my head with his hand. "Thats the thing with supernatural pregnancies...I'm pregnant" I said barely whispering the last part, as I grabbed the positive test out of my purse. He stared at it in horror as we heard, "it's true Niklaus."

We both turned as I wiped my tears, "Celia." he breathed and the older witch smiled, "Long time, old friend." She says smiling and walked over hugging him. "There's one thing I didn't tell you Aaliyah." She says and tucked hair behind my ear. "Theres a proficy, about two of the most important Tribrids to every come in witch history. Oposites from another, but together they will rule. Only together, they will beat the odds against them." she kissed my head and turned to him. "Take care of my shadow self, darling." she says and disapears. I looked up as Klaus stared at me with tears in both our eyes.
