(Y,n)'s POV
She's mad at me. I know she's mad at me, she HAS to be. I can see it in her eyes, her actions- everything. Aoi hasn't spoken so much as a word to me ever since she entered the room to change my bandages. A brisk knock is the loudest thing she's done up to this point, but afterwards, she's been as quiet as all get out. Not near normal for her, she's usually more chatty. I've been tempted to say something to her, but all those attempts have been chased away from the fence of that idea at the terrifying sight of her scrunched up face, eyes stitched together in a concentrated expression. Reminds me of Shinobu when she's mad. I can see where Aoi gets it from now.

She seems well ready to blow her top off at me, just like how a volcano does when the pressure inside of it becomes too drastic. Maybe that won't be too far off from reality when it really does happen... I just hope I can steer clear of the onslaught.

I eyed the black-haired girl silently as she kept her focus on re-wrapping my arm, searching her ocean eyes for a sign of assurance. Even in those cool azure orbs, the fires of fury still burn with the brightest color. Lava is boiling over the top of the volcano while it heavily stirs from its slumber. The fire god has awoken.

My friend has already finished up with everything else she might need to tend to. After she's finished with this arm, she'll be free to leave without even a word. Like I'll let that stand. It's been so long since we've seen each other face-to-face, and I'm not gonna start up our reunion with the silent treatment from her.

"Aoi..." I whispered out her name in a mellow intonation with hesitance and put on a wobbly smile, waving my other hand in front of her as if I'm teasing a hungry animal with a hunk of raw meat. Her fingers stopped their movements after she registered my wavering words, and she froze in place when her arms lowered to her lap. Her peeks flushed with frustration as those very fingers balled into fists. The redder they got, the more it seemed like she could hold her anger back no longer, if she even wanted to up to this point.

Here it comes, the big eruption-!!!

"(Y,N), WHAT MADE YOU THINK YOU COULD GET AS HURT AS YOU DID?!!! Everyone thought you were a goner!!!. I can't believe you, being reckless enough to the point where you're bed ridden for several weeks!!" I flinched back from the eldest assistant and laughed nervously when she practically exploded with the words rushing out from her mouth, barraging me with her sharp lecture.

S-so this is what it's like to be on the receiving end of Aoi's wrath, this is definitely a new experience. How does Inosuke do it... dealing with this so often?

    "A-Aoi-"

"Nu-uh!! NO!!! I don't want to hear it!!" The cut off of my sentence came the instant I opened my mouth to speak, and she pointed her finger at me like a mother would to a child.  the effect; my lips stayed well shut for her to proceed.

"Do you know how scared I was when I heard from one of the Kakushi that you were barely hanging on by a thread, (y,n)?! A THREAD!?!" My friend pinched her thumb and index finger together as she squinted her eyes with me, getting a chuckle that only brought her anger to swelter rapidly. She must've been keeping this all to herself the entire time, at least she didn't bombarded me with everything the moment she opened the partition to the room.

"Y-you... you could've DIED!!!" She gasped out her last part in a winded manner- she completely forgot to breathe throughout all this, I wouldn't be surprised if she risked over doing herself before she even finishes.

"Hey, hey, hey! I'm fine now~ , a little banged up still, but I'm okay!" I took her hands into mine and grinned apologetically, lining up my (e,c) eyes with her gaze to seal the deal. Even with that, Aoi was adequate in her rant to continue, now given a chance to take some air in.
