Upon sensing the magical presence of the golden dragon, Mila quietly leaves the sleeping children's room. Walking to the room next door she is greeted by a series of unapproachable expressions. Glancing towards her senior, she notices an unrelenting fire burning in his molten eyes. The tension in the room was almost palpable.

Expectantly, she searches the room for the youth her son admired. However, she frowns when she realizes that the young red head was missing.

"Did you find him?" she asks innocently.

"I'm afraid not, Mila-nim," answers the only seemingly calm person in the room.

"What happened?" the beige dragon asks with growing agitation.

"Clopeh took off with Young Master Cale and the doctor was unfortunately not much help," the dark elf sighs as she observes the young sword master gripping his sword.

"Wha-?" The second oldest of the group begins to ask before Eruhaben interrupts coldly, "The medic was a disguised elf."

"Ahh-" she gasps in understanding as she smiles sympathetically at the man before her.

"Understandably, he was unable to hold a proper conversation with us. However, we managed to learn that the young master was not just stabbed, but was also poisoned." the raven haired woman explains with a frown

"Poison?" Mila repeats before looking towards Eruhaben-nim curiously. "Did you get a sample at least?"

She saw him scowl at her words. "No," he replies abruptly. "Clopeh took that too."

Chills ran down everyone's spine as they heard the ancient dragon's response. Anyone could tell that he was furious, but they couldn't figure out if it was due to the lack of information or because Cale was still missing and injured.

After a few minutes of silence Tasha pulls out a flashing communication's device and briskly sets it where everyone can see the screen. After connecting the call, a familiar blond haired youth appears with an unusually distressed expression upon his now ashen face. The dark elf was the first to notice the chaotic emotions swirling in his shaking blue eyes.

"Your Highness, are you alright?" she asks her nephew nervously.

-I– the usually calm youth's voice breaks as he tries to speak.

"What happened?" the oldest of the dragons demands ardently.

Without another word, Alberu takes out the recording device with shaking hands and plays the contents for the others to see.

"When-" Choi Han exclaims in desperation. "When was this?"

The others observe the Crown Prince's anxious demeanor with quaking pupils. They had clearly just seen their young master cough up blood at the end of the recording. The ache in their chests worsened by the minute.

-H-he- the blond pauses to collect himself as best as he could. He called me from an unknown line not long ago.

Tasha could hear the weak tremble in her blood relative's voice as she helplessly watched him struggle to act as princely as possible. She knew he wasn't supposed to show weakness. It was obvious he was hurting and she was giving her all to fight her maternal instincts that were telling her to rush to his side so she could comfort him.

-As you saw, he was more concerned about the children than he was for his own health.

"As usual," the golden dragon sighs. "Unlucky bastard-"

"Cale-nim," Choi Han whispers with a hand clutching his chest as if trying to cling to his own sanity.

-Did you find out anything from Roslo? His eyes flicker with hope.
