"Summer Test"

Summer.

Temepture's on the rise. More and more people wear short sleeves. It's early in the season but tensions in the classroom run high. Soon, others might drop. Every students fate hangs carricly abouts.

(Mae Pov)

Looking over to our teacher as he talks about the test we'll have to take. Times like this often makes me feel slow. Everyday I swear it gets hotter and hotter, unable to step under the sun, I often have to stay inside the classrooms to cool off but if not I would have to stay under the shade of the trees to help me

Staring down at my empty desk. Our teacher told us to do, so we wouldn't have anything on top so we wouldn't cheat or be distracted

Glancing beside me was Levi's desk and over to him. He was staring out the window, bored in his eyes and waiting for his test

As he was staring, I couldn't help but to smile. Ever since the dodge ball tournament, we both made it back to our lockers and dressed separately and made it back to our classrooms.

Making it back to our club, Hanji non stop was asking Levi where the heck he's been. Levi trying to ignore her, no matter how much she tried, she wasn't getting an answer. Hanji asked me for any answers but as I promise to Levi, I say nothing and had no idea where Levi been either

But that day, it meant a lot to me seeing Levi of all people would skip his class to help me out. It was touching to me seeing he care so much,, we would skip a class. Not that he was worried, he was just relieved to know his friend was alright

Levi turned his head, making me look away as I glance away nervously. Ignoring his stares, I look over to Hanji were she was smiling to herself as her glasses reflected the light. Unable to see her eyes but knew what she was thinking by her grimming smile

"Alright everyone, please take out your number 2 pencil as the test will start soon" our sensei told us taking out our pencils. Ready to begin

Handing out our test papers, we soon started. Time flies with each and every time I write something down. As we finsihed our test and being it, it has been 20 minutes for our results

"Listen carefully for your names, to those who failed the test. There will be make up exams will be next week" Our sensei said, calling each of us to come up to receive our test results

Gulping nervous as our sensei called our name in alphabetable order. Feared of my results as I didn't wish to retake the test again

"Mae Nakamura-"

"Y-yes Sir!" I stutter

Lifting my head up to my teacher, standing up as I walk over to him. He smiled down at me as I wasn't able to return it

"90 percent, try to not stress yourself over too much over the numbers. Other that, you passed" he tells me

Sighing heavily, I smile up to him

"Thanks..ill try not too over think" I tell him, walking back to my desk I sit down and look over my paper

"Great job Mae! I told you to not over think the numbers" Hanji whispers beside me

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. Exams give me the jitters" I whisper back to her feeling relied I didn't fail

"Levi Ackerman" our teacher called out

Levi stood up and walked over to our teacher as Levi took his test and walked back to his desk

"How did you do?" I ask him

"Better than you did" he mocked me, showing me his score

'95??? But me and Hanji studied last night, how did we end up going low as Levi got a better score than us?? He dosent even study o-or, not that I've seen him study before..'
