Eunji stared at the celing, immersed in her thoughts
She got one of the saddest news ever, she was broken inside
The moonlight stroke her face as she sniffed while her body was ice cold even if she was under the thick blankets of her bed
I only have... 3 months with him?
Sunoo told her, he told her he was sick and his disease had no cure. After all he had to, she was his comfort place
"Moonie!" A shout from the streets snapped her back to reality as she looked out of the window, just to find Kim Sunoo in front of her house with the bright smile of his on his lips
"Open the door! I'm freezing here!" The girl finally realized and ran downstairs, her barefeet touching the cold floor as her slippers were no where else than under her bed
"What are you doing here? It's 4 am sun, you should rest" Sunoo just shook his head and kissed her forehead
"I missed you and I want to spent every moment left with you" the sunshine boy flopped on her couch and signaled her to sit beside her which she gladly did
He engulfed her into a hug and snuggled his face in the crook of her neck, leaving the girl a blushing mess
"I'll miss you sun" Eunji spat out those words
"I know, and I'll miss you even more. Please be happy after me" her heart broke and so did his. They'll never have their happy ever after. after all, they weren't in a fairytale
"How can I be happy without you? You're the sun to my moon, you light up my day just like the sun"
"Yah don't say like that, you're making me cry" Sunoo pulled away from the hug and chupped her face
"But it's the truth" the boy sighed and looked away
"Let's watch the stars, should we?" Eunji nodded as they both headed to her balcony to stargaze
"Moonie, promise me something" the sunshine boy started while admiring the stars
"When I'll be gone, you'll move on and find someone new. You'll be happier after me and you and your future husband will visit me at least once a month. Promise?" He extended his pinky with his innocent smile on
Eunji didn't wanted to promise so. She knows she wasn't able to move on from him
"Promise" she intertwined their pinkies while making eye contact with him
After all, promises are meant to be broken, right?
Or at least, Moon Eunji thought so
Everything was silent, the only thing you could hear were their breaths
His eyes drifted to her lips. As temptation took the best of him, he brought her face closer by placing his fingers under her chin
Sunoo connected their lips, finally doing what he wished to do the past years
He stroke her cheek lightly as she played with a strand of his pink hair
However, few giggles followed right after pulling away. The Kim was a giggling mess which made the girl smile lightly
"I love you moonie"
"I love you more sun"
