Chapter 1:New Home New suprises

Today was  every other weekend at moms, right?' I thought as we drove through the city. "Daddy, are we there yet?" My little sister, Jamiyah, said to my father.

"Not yet, sweetie." My father replied as he switched lanes. We drove for 20 more minutes till we got to my mom's new house.

"Mommy!" Jamiyah shouted as she jumped out of the car. "Hi sweetie!" My mom said as she rubbed her baby bump. "Guess what!" my sister said,'' getting her school folder out. "Look!" I got all stars this week!" Good job sweetheart." I get out of the car, and go to my mom and tell her about my day at school." Momma guess what!" What?" Do you see that window on the top floor of the house next door?" Yes, Jaylani." That's my best friend's house. Can I go over there please?" Not right now hun Ethan wants to give y'all a tour of the house okay but after." Okay mom." I walk over to my dad to get the bags out of the car when all of a sudden my dad screams at me and my sister to come here." Oh mommy I need to do something daddys mad again." I hoped and prayed that my dad would not hear what she said but soon enough he did and by the look on his face I knew we were in big trouble." My little sister and I got our bags out of  the car then my father watched us as we walked up the driveway and waved goodbye we waved back and ran into the house." When we got in the house it was like nothing we could have imagined. We ran up the stairs and looked at all the rooms." My room was big with a diamond bed frame    ." My step-dad came up the stairs and said." I hope you like the bed frame-." He said before I interrupted him and hugged him." I Love it dad." I said, ''burying my head into his chest." right across the hall is my sister's room. It was everything she loved, purple unicorns." I asked her if she liked it and she screamed and said Yes!!! We then walked downstairs and I told Mrs. Rosa, Me  and Jamiyah and our friend were going to walk to the Potomac Mills mall down the street to go get some stuff for my room. Okay sweetie, call your mom when you get there okay!" Okay Mrs rosa! I said." Bye bye.mrs rosa. My Nicole said "running out the door." We walk to the end of the driveway to see Marie and my best friend Jordan ( She is a girl 

By the way) Hey Jordan! Do you like our new house?" Yes Jasmin I love it. I see your room across from mine. She said pointing up." Whoa! I did not realize that we better go before the sale stops at chanel!" Okay!" We start to walk and get there by 4:23 pm." Lets go to American Eagle first then we can go to Clair's okay?" Okay!" Nicole and Marie say as we go into the store." Ooo look at that I say picking up a pink short cropped top with ruffles on the sleeves. Ooo but look at them!" Jordan says looking at some cute guys in the boys area but there was only one boy who could catch my eye. He looked like he could be a senior in high school as I was only a sophomore. He looked so fine he had grey eyes, dark brown hair and he was light skin and he was 6 '4! He was the whole package." Ooo look at those Jeans." I say putting them over my arm with a white flower skirt and a pink shirt with a cream colored sweater shirt." I'm gonna go get some more bras. As I go to the back to get the bras I pass bye the boys from earlier and can't help but stare a little he look over and spots me staring I see him staring at me staring at him I then I turn my head in embarrassment and speed walk to the dressing room I try on the jeans they fit like a glove i walk out the dressing room so I could ask Jamiyah, Marie and, Jordan." Ooo that looks nice!" thanks Jamiyah! " Jordan can you get me that shirt!" I say pointing to a pink top that shows some of my boob." Okay." Jordans says."  pink up the top with the face she makes when I'm doing something iconic  I then but of the shirt and came out and When I say everyone in the store was staring  I mean everyone everyone including the boy from earlier to get more of his attention I moved it around a little he began to stare hard I then went back in i got back into what I was wearing before then I came out and went to the check out." " When we got to check out I paid for my stuff and so did Jordan." "We then walked out and went to Claire's." When we got their the girls walked away from us and we got some head bands new earrings and so new nose rings to change mine out (Yes, she has a nose piercing) we then payed and went to a few more store for stuff for my room including candles,new pink bed comforter,bathtub tray,  flowers, some woven baskets, 2 big blankets, 2 long chargers for my phone and computer that's basically all and some more clothes." We then left when the person came over the intercom and said " the mall will be closing in 10 minutes." We left and went back home. I had a big basket on my bike so I put all the stuff in the basket so I did not have to carry it when we made it home. Mom was sitting on the couch." Hey mom!" I said as I brought the bags into the living room." Jaylina Jamiyah .. I have something to tell you." Okay mom, what's wrong?" your father is going to jail for rape..
