ASTRID LANG enjoyed her life up until more recent years. She had lived with her father for more than half of her life, until he made a stupid decision and was sent to prison for 3 years. After that happened, she stayed with her mom.
Okay, so she wasn't a normal teenage girl, but that's what made her cool! The girl has powers. No one in her family knows where they came from, but they never questioned it. Astrid could read minds, make people have headaches (which was a weird power for many), and had a photographic memory. Well, the last one isn't much of a power, but you get the point.
When her Father got out of prison, she went to live with him again. Let's just say, life got interesting after that. Her Dad was now a superhero, and she didn't really know how to handle it. He was always off doing something, even when he was on house arrest in later years.
When Captain Americarecruits her father, Astrid's dragged along. She argued that she'd be better off staying with her Mom, but the older Lang said that there was no time to go to the house.
Little did she know, that this trip would blossom a new friendship, and maybe even a relationship.
