Scarlet Williams sat on her bed in the Weasley's home, thinking. She had happily joined her three friends at the burrow for the summer before her fourth year. Harry, Hermione, Ron and Scarlet were practically inseparable. They were the golden quartet, and she loved it. She had been abused at home for not being in Slytherin, and so she didn't give a crap about her parents. Her dad, Roger Williams, was in Azkaban, and her mother Rose Williams was on the loose. She heard someone calling her, and realized it was Mrs. Weasley. Dashing down the stairs, she found everyone waiting for her. "Finally, the star of the shows here," Fred said jokingly. I rolled my eyes. I punched him in the arm playfully. "Owww," He whined. "Oh, quit it," Mrs. Weasley told him. I walked past him to find my three friends looking at something in the Daily Prophet. "What is it?" I asked, looking over Harry's shoulder. I watched his cheeks flush slightly at how close I was. "There's some vampires on the loose," He said. "That's not good, with the quidditch world cup and all is it?" I asked. "No. they could try and harm someone at the quidditch world cup," Hermione said. "There's so many protections set up, I doubt it would make it even a step inside," Ron said. "Children, come and eat," Mrs. Weasley said from the open door.

I was shook awake by Hermione. "Whhaaaa?" I said, still half asleep. "Get up," She said. "Whhhhyyyyyy?" I asked again. She grumbled a few swear words, and then said "Get up or else I will scream to Harry's face that you like him." At that I fell off the bed, and got up. "You suck, you know that?" I said, mad. "All's fair in love and war," She sang. I playfully punched her, and put on a Bulgarian t-shirt and some jeans. "Do you think the shirt's ok?" I asked Hermione. "Sure, the colors could pass for a sports team and the emblem could be a school logo," She said. "Good," I told her. I dashed down to the kitchen to find everyone else waiting for me again. It was then that I noticed everyone except Harry had on stuff for the Irish. Harry was apparently cheering on Bulgaria, too. I felt my cheeks go red. "Ugh, the lovebirds are twinning," Ron groaned. Harry and my faces went bright red. Ginny looked mad at the sight of Harry blushing at someone that wasn't her. "Let's go," Mr. Weasley said briskly.

After we had got to the top of a very high hill, Cedric Diggory and Mr. Diggory appeared. "Hello Arthur," Mr. Diggory said brightly. "Time's ticking, isn't it? Must get going," He said while looking at a pocket watch. Mr. Weasley nodded. We grabbed on to a mankey old boot, and suddenly we were flying. Then, we were falling. Harry, Ron, Hermione and I all screamed. The next thing I knew I was on the ground. Cedric offered me his hand, and I took it gratefully. "Thanks," I told him. "Your welcome," He responded, smiling. Hermione giggled. I rolled my eyes. He's just another heartbreaker, I thought. After grabbing my bag, I met my friends and the Weasleys at this faded red tent. Inside, it was huge. It was the size of a small home with a kitchen, living room and a load of bedrooms. "Girls, take that first room," Mr. Weasley said. I walked into the first room, and found two bunk beds along the walls. I put my bag on the top one, and Hermione took the other top one. Ginny was under me. We found Mr. Weasley trying to light a fire outside using a match. He had gone through half a pack. He promptly lit one, and dropped it out of surprise. "Let me help," I told him, and struck a match. I put it under the logs, and the fire caught. "Thank you, Scarlet," He told me sincerely. "My pleasure." I found Harry and Ron hauling back three gigantic buckets of water. "Want some help?" I asked the pair. "Please," Harry panted. I grabbed the second one Harry had been holding, and took it inside the tent. "There we go," Harry said.

Time flew by, and the next thing we knew we were hiking back from the match to our tent. "I still can't believe we lost," I whined to Harry. "Agreed." "Well, Bulgaria's got one good player, Ireland's got twelve," Charlie commented. I glared at him. He held his hands back in defense. "What? It's true." I rolled my eyes. We walked into the tent to find Butterbeer and Firewhiskey waiting for us. "Firewhiskey for the ones of age," Mr. Weasley announced. "I've got to go outside and make sure the Irish don't get to rowdy, I'll only be right outside the tent," He told us. We nodded, and made sure he was gone before popping open the Firewhiskey. "I'm trying it!" I declared. "Oh god, I can't imagine what a drunk Scarlet would look like," George groaned. "But I do want some. It's good." "You've had it?" Ron asked his brother incredulously. "Of course!" The twins said in sync. Ron groaned also. I poured some of the Firewhiskey into a plastic cup, and took a sip. It burned down my throat, but in a good way. I quickly chugged my whole cup. "Oh great," Hermione said. "Who wants to play Truth or Dare?" I asked, my voice louder than normal. Everyone except Percy raised there hands. 'Perfect Percy' went into his room, grumbling along the way. "Truth or dare, Hermione?" George asked her. "Truth," She said. "Who do you find the most attractive in this whole room?" He asked. Her face went red, and pointed at Ron, whose face also went red. "Hermione and Ron, sitting in a tree!" I sang. She slapped my arm. "Oww," I said. "Truth or dare, Scarlet?" She asked me deviously. "Dare," I told her confidently. "I dare you to kiss someone in this room," She said. "OOOO," Fred said. "Shut it, or I'll kiss you!" I told him. His face went bright red. "That's what I thought," I muttered. But before I could kiss anyone, Mr. Weasley burst in. "We need to go, You-Know-Who's supporters are here, and there wrecking havoc!" He screamed. We dashed out of the tent, and found what looked like a warzone outside. Harry grabbed my hand. We ran towards the forest, but were in the back of the crowd. "Stupefy!" Someone screamed, and Harry and I were frozen. I noticed a figure come out of the dark. It didn't take me long to realize it was the vampire from the Daily Prophet. Oh crap, please tell me he isn't about to do what I think he's going to do, I thought franticly. "Why, you two would make some very nice vampires. Especially after the amount that got killed in the last battle," He said, his tone icy. I watched his eyes go from a brown to a bright, blood red in a matter of seconds. He walked up to me, and tilted my chin up slightly. The next thing I knew, his fangs were out and in the side of my neck injecting venom. I tried to scream, it hurt so bad. After what seemed like forever, he stopped injecting the venom and removed his fangs from my neck. He then moved onto Harry. Judging by the look in his eyes, he wanted to scream also. After what seemed like forever, he removed his fangs from Harry's neck and released us. He disapparated shortly after. I ran over to Harry and hugged him. Tears fell down my cheeks. "Shh, it'll be ok," I mumbled into my ear. "It hurt so bad," I whispered. "I know. Do you know when the change starts?" He asked. "It can happen the first second after the bite, but after twelve hours it will have happened." "Good to know. But how the hell are we going the hide this from the others?" "We'll get help from Molly and Arthur. We'll say to the others that we fell on a rock when we were running, but I bet you Charlie and Bill will see right through us." "Oh well. It's the best option we have," He said finally. We got up from where we had been kneeling. I noticed Harry's neck was bleeding. I touched mine, and sure enough there was blood running from the wounds. I pressed my hand to the bitemarks, covering them up. Harry copied me, and we dashed farther into the woods. We found Hermione and Ron far in. "What happened to you guys?" Hermione asked. "We tripped over each other, and fell on a rock. "Oh," Ron and Hermione said. "Anyways, any sight of the followers?" Harry asked. "None," They said. "Good." Suddenly, something was moving not so far away from us. "Hello?" Ron said stupidly. I wacked him upside the head with my other hand. "You daft dimbo," I hissed, my eyes could've had knives in them. The thing, whatever it was, mumbled some kind of curse. Then, this giant snake formation appeared in the sky. People farther in the forest screamed. Just then, ministry members surrounded us. "Duck," Harry said, and we ducked when they shot a bunch of curses. "STOP! THATS MY SON AND HIS FRIENDS!" A voice I recognized to be Mr. Weasley roared. "Which of you did it?" Barty Crouch asked wildly. "What?" I asked stupidly. "The mark," he said. "Barty. There just kids," Someone said warily. Mr. Weasley walked over to us, and helped us up from the ground. "What happened to you, Scarlet and Harry?" He asked us. "We cut our necks on a rock," Harry said, and shot him a look that plainly said I'll explain later. Mr. Weasley nodded. "Then who did it?" Barty said. "Someone was in there," Hermione said, pointing to where we had heard the voice. "You guys can go and search, I'm going to take my family home," Arthur Weasley said. They all nodded, and ran into the clearing. Percy, Bill, Charlie and the twins appeared, all looking slightly battle worn. "Everyone, we will be using side along apparition. If you aren't legal, grab onto someone who is," Mr. Weasley instructed. I grabbed onto Bill's right hand, while Harry grabbed his left. Suddenly, we were spinning. I felt my lungs being suppressed, and it was harder to breathe. "And were here." I almost fell over, but I didn't. "So we are."

I found Molly waiting for us at the doors of the Burrow. "Help Scarlet and Harry, they've cut themselves on something," Arthur instructed. She nodded. "I'll explain later." She brought us to the living room, and forced us to sit down on the couch. "Bed, all of you," She told the others, and there was a collective groan. "Now," She ordered, and the Weasley children plus Hermione went up to bed. "If you want me to fix the cut on your neck, I'll need you to remove your hand." I looked up, and noticed she had made some towels and bottles filled with random stuff appear. Slowly, I removed my hand. "You must have gotten yourself good, your whole neck surrounding the cuts bloody," She commented. I nodded. She took a old towel of some sorts, and wiped away the blood. "My gosh-" she said, and then noticed the bitemark. She dropped the towel, stepped back and put a hand over her mouth. "Please tell me that's not what I think it is," She mumbled. "I wish I could," I muttered. "And I'm presuming he's the same?" She asked, motioning to Harry. Harry nodded. "Well, there's not much I can do then. I can however, make the bleeding stop. I might be able to find a donner for the whole blood thing," She said. I nodded gratefully. She put some kind of cream on the side of my neck. "There," She said, and moved to Harry. After about five minutes, she was done. As we got up to go to bed, pain shot through my body. I whimpered, and Mrs. Weasley noticed immediately. "Oh no. Take this, it should help with the pain," She said passing Harry and I tiny bottles filed with some sort of purple liquid. I poured some of it into my mouth, and the pain decreased considerably. "Thanks," I told her. I walked up the stairs and to the bedroom I shared with Hermione and Ginny. I noticed the two were already asleep. I got in bed, and fell asleep the minute my head hit the pillow.
