         genevieves pov

        its been a week since the "incident" and nothing between us has happened yet.

but i have heard something about a start of the school year party in the slytherin common room. and im assuming that mattheo is going to be there so it could be my chance.

im heading to the dining hall for dinner. i see pansy and catch up to her.

"heyyy" i say skipping up to her "oh hey guess what!" she says excited "whatt" "some elves told me they are serving mashes potatoes tonight!" and you may think mashed potatoes arent a big deal but they are in my world.

"YESSSS" i yell, the first year hufflepuffs are staring at me. i decide to ignore them and start skipping to the dining hall.

me and pansy sit down. im smiling excited eat. "why are you so excited" draco says. he always ruins my mood. "a little birdy told me their serving mashed potatoes" i say smiling
"actually  the kitchen elves told me and i told v" pansy says abruptly. "same thing" i roll my eyes.

daddy- i mean dumbldore waves his wand and the food is magically right in front of our faces.

i grab the mashed potatoes right away and scoop about 5 spoon fulls of mashed potatoes on my plate.

mattheo laughs and asks if i can pass them to him, i do.

-time passes but were still at dinner-

"so who's going to the start of the school year party" i say randomly while shoving my face full of mashed potatoes.

"didn't know it was a thing" enzo says so cluelessly. "your always out of the loop enzo"
draco says. i laugh from the comment.

enzo rolls his eyes at draco "anyways im going"
pansy says. mattheo and blaise agree. my eyes light up when i hear mattheo say he's going.

"i suppose i can make it" draco says. "alright cool" "and what about you enzo?" i say looking at him. "yea sure"

-the next week-

im sitting in bed reading when i hear a knock at my door.

i look through the peep hole to see that its enzo and pansy. i unlock the door and the shove in right past me.

"YOU ARNT DRESSED" enzo yells. "no its 6 oclock" i say after i look down at my watch. "6 oclock oh my come on you need to get ready" pansy says pushing me to my closet.

-an hour later-

"WALK OUT ALREADY" enzo says in a hurry. "I CANT ZIP IT UP WAIT ONE SECOND LORENZO"

i walk out in a gorgeous dark green silky dress. there is a little slight on my thigh.

pansy and enzo stare at me looking me up in down in amazement.

"well?" i say with a worried look on my face. "you look absolutely beautiful" pansy says. "all right enough looking at me put your dress on pansy. me and enzo shove her and her dress in my bathroom.

she walks out in an red dress. "queen" i say to her "you are slaying" enzo says while walking to over to her.

enzo gets ready and we all head out to the slytherin common room. which is right outside of my room.

we walk down the stairs like the queens that we are and walk over to the drinks.

im sitting on the couch talking with pansy while enzo is going to find some guy to screw. yes enzo is gay go queen.

draco comes and asks pansy to dance. what a gentleman. but honestly i don't understand hot pansy finds him attractive.

im sitting on the couch and guess who comes over and sits next to me. mattheo. yessss

"well hello ms lock" he says with that charming voice of his. "hi theo" i say

"why is a pretty girl like you sitting alone at a party" he says. he just said im pretty. "nothing much just waiting for a handsome guy like you to ask me to dance"

wow good going that was so cringy. oh well. "well then genevieve lock would you like to dance with me" he stand up and holds out his hand. i obviously grab it.

we get drinks, then drink the drinks, then go dance. and I had the time of my life. right before snaps decides to crash it.

me and mattheo were dancing and then boom snaps walks in. it goes silent. people start running of the doors. mattheo grabs my hand and we run to the astronomy tower. were laughing while my my hair is blowing in the wind. (yea ik their inside but shes running and trying to have her moment)

we end up in the astronomy tower out of breath. i smile and get the hair out of my mouth. yea ik awkward. he's smiling, and could i mention how pretty this mans smile is like omg.

anywayyy he looks at me while im looking up at the stars. i look over and we make eye contact.

mattheos pov (dnjsksjsbciosj)

oh god. i think im falling for her.

looks the other way out at the stars. i do to. does she like me like i like her?

i look over at her and it looks like she's shivering. "do u want my jacket?" i ask plightly
"sure" i take my jacket off and put it on her.

she smiles up at me. i smile down at her or faces for close and i kissed her.

genevieves pov

were kissing. its a short kiss but that kiss felt like it could last forever. and i wouldnt be mad.
i smile and he does as well. "i should get going its getting late" REALLY GENEVIEVE "its getting late" ITS 8 AND TMRW IS SATURDAY.

well cant undo what ive already done. "oh well at least let me walk you to your dorm" he says. "i suppose" i smile.

he walks me back and i grab the key in my purse to unlock the door. i walk in and he stands outside of the door. "oh here" i say while i take off the jacket. "here" i hand it to him. "thanks" he puts it back on and then proceeds to give me a kiss on the cheek. eeeeeee!!

"astronomy tower tmrw at 2" "see you tmrw lock" he says and smirks "see you tmrw riddle"

holy cow. he isnt playing me right? i sure hope not.
