Elena Gilbert surely made a lot of mistakes in her life, like going to that stupid party that ended with her parents death, or when she tried to hand herself over to Klaus which led to two strong vampires come to her. But, this time she may be having a bad idea
She stood there, looking at Elijah's body. His skin still was grey even after she removed the dagger, yes, she did that. She did that all on her own. It was obvious that they needed help, Elena knew they had Stella and she was extremely grateful for her help, but Elijah could help them getting more information
Elena also saw the way Stella reacted when she told the vampire that they had Elijah. Maybe the brunette was betraying Stella in doing this. She doesn't know what happened between these two, but she would do anything to get her family and friends safe and sound
A gasp brought her back to reality, Elijah stood there looking confused till he screamed in pain
"What it is?" Elena asked confused as well
"I cannot be inside this house. I wasn't invited in"
He rushed to the door with his vampire speed leaving the human behind. The Original didn't knew what was happening or how he got here, all he remembers is Elena putting a dagger in his heart
Elena ran to the front door where the vampire stood outside
"What happened?" He asked confused
"Shh" Elena said while pointing upstairs where the brothers were "I will tell you. Not here. Can I trust you?"
The vampire scoffed
"Can I trust you?"
Elena took a deep breath before handing the dagger to the Original's hand. She wanted him to trust her again, even if that means giving him the only average they had

"You look better" Elena said while driving the car. She didn't exactly knew where they were going, but she didn't want to upset the vampire
"Where did you get the dagger?" Elijah asked
"I'll tell you everything, but we need to work together, Elijah. I need your word"
Elijah shook his head
"Your ability to make demands has long passed"
"No demands, then. I'm offering my help and in return I want yours" Elena nodded trying to get the vampire back at her side
