the serene cherps and hums of the animal nightlife perusing through the forest caused a smile to tug at the girl's lips, glancing over at isaac as the gentle moonlight danced across his cheeks.
emmeline's hand was still tightly gripping his own, the two teens letting out light laughs and jokes when either one would trip over a stray branch or stone as they walked along to where ever the blonde boy was leading them.
"isaac, where is it exactly that you're taking me?" emmeline questioned, tucking her free hand into the sleeve of her dress to fight against the nighttime chill.
"it's a surprise," the boy hummed with a coy smirk, lifting emmeline's hand up to his lips to press a chaste kiss against the back.
"and what if i told you that i'm not too fond of surprises?" she quipped with a grin.
"well, good thing i know that you are," isaac replied with a knowing look, gingerly swinging their intertwined hands back and forth.
