Glints of light

I watch as the moon refulgent
Giving out glints of light to my caliginous life,
Reminiscing me about my happy days,
When everything was alright, when there was light.

Perhaps if I knew
It would be the last time seeing the illumination glistening my world,
I would have held onto it a little tighter,
Fought for it a little harder,
Cherished them.
If only I knew, it would be the last time,
Seeing the light coruscating my world like diamonds,
I would have made it lingered for a little longer.
