After experiencing an awful home life, Finley Parker is sent to St Jude's mental institute to recuperate from their illnesses. They had no trouble fitting in, already making friends with a few of the residents, including Campbell Bain: a manic depressive with a heart of gold.
As time passes, the two become closer in friendship, and perhaps more than that.
