Chapt 3 - "Why?"

As toxic as this inner dialogue for Toga may come off you can not convince me it isn't cannon for her to act and feel like this-

For the next week, every day Himiko went and checked up on Katsuki, she brought him food, drinks, whatever she thought he needed

Not that he ever really acknowledged her but she was trying, she wanted him to feel better

And dabi was always right behind her hoping that katsuki would acknowledge her at some point

First it being stain, then izuku, then Ochaco, the big brother in him just wanted her to have a win in her "love" life, she was a kid and her obsessive like crushes weren't healthy

He hoped possibly Katsuki would learn to feel the same, he just wanted both of them to be happy, and it's logical they could possibly find that in each other

Near the mid of the week after this one, katsuki finally turned to Himiko, he sat up and looked at her, a bit of a glare on his face

She stopped and looked at him questioningly before he eventually did speak

"Why?" He asked

"Why what?" She asked tilting her head curiously

"Why do you keep bringing me stuff? It's not like I'm actually eating or drinking anything, it's fucking annoying" he said

"Oh- I'm not trying to be annoying- I just wanted to help" Toga said

"Then fucking stop" bakugou glared more

"Why?" Himiko challenged

Katsuki raised an eyebrow "because, you're fucking annoying and crazy and I don't want you near me"

Himiko thought for a moment before nodding slightly and just leaving

He was upset, he didn't mean it right?  Yeah she knew, or rather she thought herself as annoying and crazy

But it still stung, she liked that he was mean she found it intriguing but watching someone be mean and then being at the sharp end of the words are two different things

Why did he have to be so mean to her? He even tolerated dabi but he was so mean to her

She thought for a while, it hurting her more and more as she repeated the words but then she remembered

'If a boy is mean to you it means he likes you!'

She grinned happily at that thought

He must like her then! Because he's so very mean, so he definitely likes her!

Himiko was back in her room now and dabi entered katsukis

"You shouldn't be so mean to her, she just likes you" dabi said

"Well tell her to stop 'liking' me" bakugou said

"Cant do that, best case scenario she gets over it on her own, but you don't have to be so cruel to her" dabi said

"And I should care why?" Bakugou asked harshly

"I feel like you two would have a lot in common I'd you took the time to know her" dabi said

"Yeah right like I'd have anything in common with a crazy ass villain like her" bakugou scoffed

"You'd be surprised, people don't become villains or 'crazy' with no reason" dabi said

"But regardless I'll leave you be now" he added then walking out of the room

Katsuki sat there, thinking for a while, he kind of stared at the wall, his mind going back to his home life before he silently asking himself

"What made her crazy?"
