"Ganyu! Happy Birthday!" Shiro cries out, wrapping his arms around her and giving her a hug.
"H-huh? Oh uh, thank you!" replies the half-qilin, smiling with happiness.
Ganyu remembers the past birthdays that have gone by. After the Archon war, she had decided to work. Every year, her birthdays were either ignored or only celebrated by her close friends. However, ever since meeting Shiro, he always made sure to celebrate her birthdays. Sometimes they went and take a picnic somewhere, and sometimes they just went around traveling.
I feel happy. This is the first time that someone would always remember my birthday, Ganyu thinks, her heart feeling warm. It's nice, having someone celebrating with you.
"Nee, Ganyu. What do you want to do today? Ningguang agreed to give you a day off. Wanna go to Mondstadt to sightsee?"
"Mondstadt... alright. Let's go!"
Hearing her reply, Shiro grabs her hand, and they begin on their path to Mondatdt.
Upon arriving near the city, Ganyu's mind once again drifts to her past. That feeling of loneliness. She starts shivering. Shiro notices and immediately hugs her.
"What's wrong, Ganyu? You know you can tell me anything."
"N-no, it's nothing... just some bad memories" she replies, trying to reassure Shiro.
"... Follow me."
Shiro sprints forward, with Ganyu closely behind.
"Where are we going? We just passed the city." Ganyu asks.
"Just a bit more forward!"
"Alright. We are here now."
"Where *pant* is this?" Ganyu questions, while taking heavy breaths from the sprinting.
"Look. Isn't this beautiful?"
Ganyu looks up, and gasps at what she sees.
"This... is very beautiful!"
"We are at Starsnatch cliff, I remembered that this scenery is quite beautiful. You can see the blue sky and the ocean from up here."
"But... why are we here?"
"Ganyu. If something is too painful to remember, I want you to remember this scene. Let go of your worries. You are not in the past anymore. Things have changed. Don't be sad. You have friends that will support you."
Tearing up, Ganyu hugs Shiro with happiness.
"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"
"You are welcome. And once again, happy birthday, Ganyu."
A/N: Bruh I think my writing skills dropped... anyways I wanted to write this since it is Ganyu's birthday today, and she's my main DPS. Not to mention... a big softie!
