The Reunion

CHAPTER 2 : A vacation that's much-needed.

                              Leeb-An city was a city with the brightest future. It was a free city alright. And in just the outskirts of this city was 'Hope and Adventure loving Inn'. It was one of the most successful Inn and restaurant in the city. 

 There was a rumour going around the city that the Inn was owned by none other than the hero of Easter and Western Continents, Cale Henituse. Everyone who visited the city didn't miss the chance to visit the Inn. It was slowly turning into a hot-spot for tourists, merchants and youths.

A young man who had heard the rumour had decided to visit the place. He had scoffed when he heard the rumour and was there to investigate the place. Well I guess not everyone can be a fan of the legend (*ehem*). But as soon as he stepped into the inn with his friends, he started criticising each and everything, saying that it was no way that young master silver shield was the owner of such an Inn. He drank and  started a drunk fight.

Cale and his group had arrived at the Inn. Ron who also had accompanied young master Cale was seeing to their accommodations. Everyone's attention was turned to the fight that just had broken out. A youth who was drunk was smashing some bottles of rum on ground. Seeing that, Ron, Beacrox, and Hans reminisced the olden days when young master Cale was a trash who threw bottles and passed days drunk. Ron smiled and thought how his young little puppy had matured. But still, till date he didn't know what led young master to drink so much? Was it a hobby? a habit? or trauma? He didn't know.

The young man turned to Ron, seeing that he was smiling at him. "Hey, old man! You dare smile at me huh? Do you wanna go? Come fight me you bastard!"

"Little kid, look who are you talking to first." Beacrox intermediated them.

"Who? Huh? Do you not know who my father is?" the youth retorted.

"Brat, I don't care about who you father is. Right now, you're talking to the manager of this Inn." Ron said sternly.

"Manager huh? Bring out the owner! I need to have chat.." the youth slurred his speech as the alcohol was starting to show its effect.

Cale then stopped Ron and said, "I am Cale Henituse-the owner and that is Ron Molan-the manager. I believe you wanted to say something?" Cale had put on his most famous business poker face.

"What nonsense! I don't believe that you are Cale Henituse. You look like some fake ass miserably failed impersonator. Haha what a shame! I knew it was a fake rumour." the young man babbled and slurred his speech so much that it was hard to interpret his words.

Everyone looked at the handsome red head who was looking at the man amusingly with gleaming eyes. Cale splashed a  ball of water of judgement on his head and said, "Mmph, that was for the smell." Then summoned a gust of wind that lifted the drunkard and slammed back onto the ground. "And that was to make you come to your senses." He then gestured Ron to take care of the situation. Cale and the group started moving to their respective designated chambers.

Well, the rumour was no longer just a mere rumour. The news spread like wildfire that it was in fact, young master silver shield the hero of easter and western continent who owned the Inn.

A vacation isn't a vacation if you do not go to a beach. It was a sunny day and the wolf tribe children and some adults from Cale's group were swimming and playing in the water. You ask where our hero was? Well he was sitting in the shade with sunglasses on and almost dozing off. He could hear his children bicker just at some distance away from him. Life was good.

"Noonaaaa come onnn!" Raon urged On and started pulling Hong towards the water.

"Youngest nooo!" Hong tried to shout and escape from the clutches of the young dragon.

"Haa... Raon I don't know to swim and have no intention to learn as well." On tried to trick Raon and run towards the shade where cale was lazing away. 

On sat down on the lounge chair where cale was resting. It was pretty big for one person. Cale adjusted On on the chair. Hong followed behind his sister and sat down on cale's lap. Cale didn't budge. Instead he put an arm around Hong to secure him from falling off.

"Human! Tell them to come and play with me in the water! It is not that scary! Noona, Hyung, come let's playyyy. Come onnnn!" Raon started urging them again. But cats being cats, they won't step into the water.

Cale sighed and looked down on his lap where Hong on his humanoid form was resting making Cale his chair. On on the other hand was drinking the refreshments that were kept on the table beside the chair. He said, "Come, let's cool off some heat. Water is nice and cold today."

"No, nya, I don't want to." On replied.

"Nya, water is wet nya. You won't like wet water, nya." Hong replied as if Cale hated going into the water instead of himself.

Cale couldn't help but chuckle. "I will show you something. It will be a secret between just the four of us~" He somehow lured the children to get into the water.

He pulled On and Hong in the water where it reached till their thighs. Raon began swimming with them. His scales were glistening with water droplets. Wave after wave, the water felt amazing. But the children clung to Cale as the wave crashing onto them wavered their balance on the sand.

"Eeek! What was it you wanted to show us, nya?" On yelled as she held tightly to Cale's hand.

"Nya, I want to go back nya" Hong said as he held on to Cale's waist.

"It is so fun!" Raon screamed as he once again went into the water and came up with full force. That made the water splash on the trio.

"Now look here." Cale said motioning to On and Hong, "We are going to destroy the Waves. When a wave comes towards you, you have to jump on it and destroy it. Got it? Here I will hold on to your hands and I will teach you how to."

One after on the wave came and got destroyed by them. The laughter rang around them until they got tired. The cats somehow overcame the fear of the water, well I guess the tried at least. But in the end they all had so much fun. Beach day was a total success so to say.
