This book, is a journey of two contrasting individuals that find solace in each other. A man so unfeeling and brooding discovering something so deeply pure for the first time in his life.

The sunshine and gloom learn that love comes when least expected.

JUST to preface, I want to make my main character, that has mental health issues go through a path with disruptions and even a few trenches that submerge her.

I based my main character off of myself, not in terms of mental health but rather the ups and lows of her life and how she is able to gracefully overcome ever single hindrance.

I'm so proud of every single person that has overcome something no matter how large or small.

This main character is also going to have self-development and have assurance of their own self worth.

I would like to address the topic of the main character being diagnosed with PTSD after her kidnapping.

This is not me appropriating or romanticizing PTSD, but rather an indication of realism by adding real-life side effects to an extremely traumatic event.

Also, if their is any frustration towards the main character and why she forgives her captor and even has the audacity to fall in love with him, who cares?

This is a work of fiction and is meant to provide some type of entertainment, so I get it if this isn't your cup of tea.

I am so incessantly aware that mafia romances mainly revolve around smut, but this book will not just be smut with no plot— it will be based upon its plot and the smut will just be a bonus!

Also the plot is basically just heartwarming scenes between the two, Nora and Lorenzo have a very turbulent yet healthy relationship. I am trying to get people's standards up, thank you very much.
