p.s the timeline that i set in this story is in the 1950s, there is no official year when was encanto placed but for the sources i read; abuelo died somewhere in the 1900s specifically 1902 ( my sources said that the marauders that killed him could be linked to specific wars and some said it has same "vibes" as the 100 yrs of solitude or the 1000 days war / heres the one of the many links i found; https://www.reddit.com/r/Encanto/comments/rsahna/historical_context_of_the_men_who_killed_abuelo/ ) then 50 yrs later as said by abuela
so to my own timeline, encanto would be set in 1952 or later!
