I made my way to lunch as Luna waved me over to they're table which made me happy they still wanted to be friends with me.

Walking over to them I bumped into a wall figure looking up to see it was August standing in my way with an angry look on his face.

"Come with me"he pulled my hand roughly as dragging me as everyone in the cafeteria just watched.

"Let me go" I struggled getting out of his grip.

He checked the halls to make sure no one was watching before he slapped me. I felt like crying but I wouldn't show him that so I kept my head up not letting the tears fall from my face.

"If you ever and I mean ever disrespect us or Father like that ever again I will kill you myself and no one will miss you" he yelled do loudly my ears started to hurt.

"Go Ahead"

I saw him lift his hand up to slap me again after what I had just said and I waited for the impact of his slap as I closed my eyes but the impact never came.

Seeing both two tall figures standing over me holding August's hand was Jasper and Kaleb stood beside him they both looked furious.

"I always knew you were a low life but I didn't think you'd stoop low enough to lay your hands on a woman"Jasper stared at him gripping his hand tighter.

"This is non of your business Coleman this is a family matter" August pulled away from jaspers grip.

"It becomes my business when you decide to hurt the people I care about " my heart flutter as I heard him say he cared about me.

"I am her brother and I know what's best for her not the both of you dimwits" August went grab my hand again as kaleb stood infront of me.

"If you lay a finger on her ever again I'll break every bone in your body" Kaleb said as he eyes him up and down.

"Tolle eam hinc" Jasper looked at Kaleb as he said this.

"Sed..?"Kaleb had this questioning look on this face.

"Noli interogare" Jas just said as he gave me a wink before Turing to look at August

I didn't under what they were saying as Kaleb pulled me away I didn't even know why that's when I heard a loud crash.

"What was that" I questioned Turing back to look at what was happening.

"Nothing  Puella" he said with a smile throwing his arm over my shoulder as he lead me to my next class.

We talked for a while as I got to know him more he was really funny and chilled I could talk to him so easily.

It was Art class but he had English so we said our goodbyes I walked into the class luckily Luna was in the class so I sat next to her . It was exciting and different on how we got along I enjoyed her company.

15 minutes into the class

A very late Jasper walked into class late the teacher gave him detention too which he groaned as he took his seat beside me.

"You'll all be assigned  group project  that's worth 60 % of  your yearly grade in which you'll have to draw your partner's portrait but-" the teacher began explaining the work

"Can we choose who were in a group with Ms Daisy"

"If you hadn't interrupted me you'd know that I'll be choosing who your partner are. You have 3 weeks to complete this project and you have to do it in your own time . The list goes as follows.

"You know Tesoro if you wanted to kiss me right now I wouldn't blame you with the way you keep staring at me" he chuckled lightly making my heart flutter

"No thanks Jas but thanks for the offer though" I backed away as I started working on my background just so I could hid the blush on my face.

I heard him mumble under his breath even though I couldn't hear what he said.

We spent the time just talking the comfort he gave me just being around him was peaceful.

The day quickly ended making me which means I had to go home. I didn't know what was gonna happen would August punish me again or anyone else it was already hard hiding the bruises and scars I had if they increased I don't know what I'd do.

I said goodbye to all my friends and took off walking the house since I couldn't call it a home.

Home means comfort and love yet somehow the only homes I've been in have showed me home isn't a house or four walls to the point where I don't even know what it feels like.

It took me half and hour before I could get there I saw a car parked outside which looked oddly familiar.

I went into the house and I was indulged with a strong hug which scared me making me flinch back in fear

"You better fucking play along or else I'll have you dead daughter or not" Mason whispered in my ear as I shakily hugged him back.

"How was school Baby girl" he asked with the fakest smile I have ever seen.

I wondered why he was acting this way but then I saw it there she was.

Sitting on the couch as she watched us Ms Thea my social Worker.
