"Bub, I can't fetch you today." si Marmoris habang nag vi-video call kami, may bahid ng pag aalala sa kanyang mukha "But, I'll see you later after my exam. Dinner tayo together? Hindi ka ba busy mamaya?"
Tumango-tango ako at nginitian siya, wala kaming napag-usapan na practice. Rest day na muna daw kami ngayon dahil bukas ay rehearsal. It's my first time to walk at the ramp, modeling a gown from Pinoy Designer.
"Its okay Bub, I'm with Carlisle naman. Papahatid lang ako sa kanila." I paused for a while, I noticed some of his friend were studying at the back,
"Nagtext ka na lang sana para hindi maaksaya ang oras mo."
"I wanna see you Selene, kahit video call lang." he said, he actually looks tired but still managed to smile when he saw me smiling to him . Ilang araw na kaming hindi nagkikita sa personal dahil naging abala siya sa pag-aaral. "I miss you Selene" he uttered then blow out some air.
"Sino yan?" makulit na sabi ni Carlise. Pinasilip ko sa kanya ang hawak 'kong phone at ng makita niya si Marmoris ay agad na sumigaw ang babae, "Hoy Marmoris!"
"Hi Carl!" si Marmoris kumaway pa ito, "Pakihatid ang bebe ko ha? Masugatan lang yan humanda ka sa akin." pananakot niya kay Carlisle. My cousin rolled her eyes kaya natawa na lang si Marmoris, "Kahit hindi mo pa ako pagsabihan, I will take good care of my cousin."
My boyfriend chuckled. Gustong-gusto niyang binu-bully ang pinsan ko.
"What are you doing Hon?" a high pitched voice interrupted. Napatigil tuloy si Carlisle at kumunot ang noo habang nilingon ako. I know its Shams at hindi ito big deal sa akin, Marmoris told me everything about Shams. I don't need to be scared or threaten because I trust my man, he always assures me and tells me nothing to worry about.
Nilingon siya ni Marmoris, narinig ko pa ang sinabi ng lalaki "Video calling with my wife." nakangising sabi niya.
"Tang'na andito na ang higad." supladang bulong ni Carlisle, mas lalong naging maldita ang pagmumukha nito. Her iconic face when she's annoyed, yung tipong mukha pa lang niya ay mapapaaway na kami. Carlisle has intimidating face, she's jolly but with a pinch of wickedness. You can't predict her... She's spontaneous.
"Shhhh...." kunot noong pag sita ko sa kanya. Humarap ulit ako sa camera, "Bub, you should study na. I'll message you when I'm home, don't worry about me. Take your time!" I smiled to Marmoris. My man tilted his head, he rested his face at the back of his hand, making his knuckles and veins visible. Elbow supporting the weigh of his head, "Where have you been?" my brows furrowed by the question he asked. Andito lang naman ako kay Carlisle simula kanina.
I was about to answer him but he flooded me with questions.
"Are you an angel?"
"Do you know how lucky I am to have you?"
"Are you part of my dream?"
He groaned, "Fuck!" he said emphatically, "I can't wait to hold you again."
The side of my lips slowly rose up, I covered my mouth to hide my smile. I shivered as I felt my face was going to explode due to heat. My heart was pounding, It was melting with every beat of it. I couldn't hide the thrill I felt.
Marmoris bit his bottom lip then lick his lower lip before he speak, "You're blushing Selene Grace".
I remove my hand from covering my mouth, I force myself not to laugh and pretend not to be nervous, "Sige na! Mag-aral ka na muna!" I smiled while saying those.
"Ang lalandi!" sabat ni Carlisle, "Respeto sa mga single! Ang babastos niyo!" nakangusong reklamo niya.
Natawa kami ni Marmoris sa sinabi nito.
