"Yeah, i'm excited" the girl tells him chuckle
"Yeah, you know, i considered it, Purdue, but then i was like, you know what? I really think i need some real life experience, you know, before i hit college, see what it feels like. Kinda like, uh, i don't know, see what it's like to earn a working man's wage, you know? Uh... Oh, i'm sorry" Steve says stopping himself as the cash registers fails "I think that's, like, really important"
"Yeah, totally" she says to him unimpressed
"Yeah, anyways, this was, like, so fun. We should kind of like, you know, i don't know, maybe hand out this weekend or- Oh, sorry about that" Steve says as he drops the coins on the counter "I don't know. Maybe next weekend or-"
"Yeah, i'm busy" she tells him
"Oh, that's cool, i'm working here next weekend, so the following weekend is better for me"
"No, i'm sorry, i can't" she tells him then walks out with her friend
"I- This is my first day" he called out to them
"And another one bites the dust" Robin says walking up to the window with her white board "You are oh for six, Popeye"
"Yeah, yeah, i can count" Steve tells her as he leans on the counter facing her
"You know that means you suck"
"Yep, i can read, too"
"Since when?"
"It's this stupid hat" Steve says and you stand next to Robin as he walks towards them "I am telling you, it's totally blowing my best feature"
"Oh, please. You can still see your hair from under the hat" you tell him
"You know, it's a crazy idea, but have you considered telling the truth?" Robin asks him
