Crack

Leo fell to the ground from a tree, knocked out by a bullet shot at him by one of his soldiers on the ground. He survived, fortunately, due to the bullet not being lethal but the drop to the ground was lethal enough. Completely out cold, he wasn't aware that he was falling to his death.

"LEO"

Hange yelled and jumped after him, Levi followed just as quickly, the ground opened up beneath them and they disappeared, without a trace

"CAPTAIN!!!!"

Petra, a member of the Levi Squad, yelled frantically

"HANGE"

Rashad, Hange's second in command yelled, confused as to where they had gone. They disarmed the soldier quickly before riding into the Titan Forest. The year 850, 5 years after the fall of the Wall Maria, 5 years before Eren met Hange, Levi, or Leo, 5 years before any one of them could engrave their name into the history books.

"Where are we...."

Leo sat up and looked around, rubbing his head where there was a small cut

"A direct shot..."

He mumbled

"Definitely not one of my men, none of them can shoot..."

They all seemed to be in an alley but the noises coming from the entrance were loud and foreign. Levi got up to dust himself off when he paused and inspected himself

"What....is this filth, on me?!"

Hange was still knocked out, she had hit the ground the hardest trying to protect Leo from the fall when she grabbed him, so she was out cold. Leo looked out the alleyway and thought

"Moving....carriages???"

That was confusing to him and on top of that, there seemed to be an infinite amount of them

"Wha-"

His mind was frazzled while trying to make sense of it all. Levi sat next to Hange, her hand in his. Silence was the only thing surrounding the two, Leo didn't say anything and gave them some time, he walked out to inspect where they were when he bumped into a short, red headed girl

"Sorry-"

He said quickly and looked down, she looked pissed

'Ah yes'

He thought

'This is the end of me'
