A Decision Made Nessary

Ahsoka took a deep breath not knowing what to do, she was just framed and almost put to death for crimes she did not commit. She had no reason to stay in the Jedi order, none at all except Anakin. She could feel his gaze upon her, she could feel his eagerness for her to stay. She had to think about it, the Jedi council pretty much made her experience seem like a test. What was she supposed to do? She looked up at Anakin, his eyes penetrating her own.
Anakin looked down at his padawan all he could ever want is her to stay with him, she meant so much to him, and he couldn’t imagine living a life without her. Sure when he first met her he wanted absolutely nothing to do with her, but now it was different. He felt that now he needed her in his life. There was some silence for a bit before he spoke “they’re asking you back Ahsoka.” he paused “I’m asking you back.” He then opened up his hand to reveal her padawan beads; he couldn't contain his excitement. He was so happy that his padawan was still alive and he was excited to have the council with him to see this moment of how important they are to each other. He wanted to feel her hand against his; she always had a soft, caring, and loving touch whenever he needed confort.
Ahsoka looked down at his hand not fully knowing what to say or do. The Jedi council was right there in front of her; she just wanted to be alone with Anakin for this moment. Did she want to leave or did she want to stay? It was confusing to her, Anakin the person who has cared for her and done anything and everything she has needed. He’d always have her back when she needed it and she would do the exact same thing for him. She could tell he was still looking at her, any other day she would think of it as creepy but she could feel out egger he was. Ahsoka took one last deep breath before reaching for Anakin’s hand, taking her beads from the palm of his hand. She had felt her fingertips rub against the cool fabric of his glove. She felt Anakin’s excitement increase, she pulled a weak smile as she slowly put the beads back where they belong. She looked up at him with her soft blue eyes meeting his caring deep blue eyes. She had no idea why but they were so pretty she wondered if he had gotten them from his mother or father, but again she never really heard him mention a father to her, maybe he had died before he was born or when he was young.
“Welcome back Ahsoka '' Anakin said kindly and gently, smiling down at her “if you’ll excuse us Masters.” Anakin said as he took Ahsoka by the shoulder and led her out of the room. Soon as they were a good distance away he pulled her into a tight embrace. He could tell she was surprised by the way her body tensed “I don’t know what I would have done without you snips… I'm so sorry I let this happen to you, i tried so hard for you, I fought the best I could for you.” he took a deep breath. “I wish this never had happened to you and what the council told you was ridiculous it shouldn’t have been viewed as a test. They should have apologized but I don't care. All I care about is you and you being here.” he pulled back ever so slightly and put his left hand onto her cheek, his thumb tracing her wing marking “I'm so glad you're alive and here with me. I would have done anything and I will do anything for you Ahsoka” he spoke kindly, his words touching her and even himself.
Ahsoka slowly hugged him back she closed her eyes as she put her face into his shoulder. For a while she had felt he didn’t do enough for her to help her in her situation, but he was there for her even when she didn’t know it. He cared for her more than she realized, but was it more than what it should be? Though he did help chase her down and capture her, which was the cause of her almost getting put down like a rabid animal. She was human, well not really human but she had feelings. She took hold of his robes as tears fell from her eyes. She kept quiet about it but she could tell he knew she was crying by the way he started to rub her back. “Thank you.” she sucked in a deep breath “for helping me, for being there for me master…” Ahsoka pulled back and whipped away her tears “so… wanna go get something to eat?” she asked quietly.
“Is that even a question?” Anakin joked.
Ahsoka and Anakin went to a nearby plaza to get something to eat. Anakin though was somewhat worried about Ahsoka; she was being extremely quiet.

“Are you okay Snips?” Anakin asked kindly.

Ahsoka looked up to him and nodded “yeah I am I’m just thinking…”

“What are you thinking about?”

She took a deep breath. “To be honest, too many things, so much has happened to me these past few days and I don’t know what to do. I’m thankful you stood by me, but it troubles me that no one else stood by my side. The Jedi council they… chose themselves and what the public and the senate would think of them instead of choosing someone that needed them. I needed their help and they turned their backs on me…” she took a bite out of her meal “what was I supposed to do then? Just let this happen to me? Let myself take the blame? They didn’t help me… but if this was to happen to you they would have stood by your side… they would have tried to prove your innocence because you’re their golden boy.” she really hated to say that about Anakin but it was true if it was him that got framed the Jedi council would have stood by his side and proved his innocence. It really showed their priorities. “I’m sorry to say that master but it is true… they care about you more than they’ll ever care about me.” she looked at him.
“Ahsoka…” Anakin wasn’t sure what to say to her; she was probably right “what they did to you was wrong. I tried to tell them that they should stand by you but they rather side with captain Tarkin and it was wrong of them, they should have helped you.” he sighed “but Ahsoka I want you to remember this. I will always be by your side. No matter what happens, Ahsoka you’re my best friend and I want you to be happy and know you're safe.” he smiled slightly.
Ahsoka looked at him “I know and I'm grateful for that, and you’re my best friend too so I don't think there is much for me to worry about if you’re round” she pulled a smile.
Anakin smiled at her before shaking his head slightly “I am pretty great aren’t I?” he teased.
“Yeah, yeah sure you are skyguy” she playfully rolled her eyes. Anakin’s expression showed some shock. “Did you just call me that?”
“Yup” she smiled as she spoke in a snippy tone.
“Don't get snippy with me young one”
“Isn’t that why I’m Snips, I think I got that name for a reason” Ahsoka couldn’t help but smile.
Anakin was smiling too, his cheeks seeming to swell with happiness like his expression. She loved his presence, what would she do without him? Not well, she assumed she was glad he was her friend and that he would always be there for her.
Months later, Ahsoka refused to trust the Jedi Council again until they could possibly earn her trust. Today was the day Ahsoka would become a Jedi Knight. She was extremely nervous but she had been waiting for this day for a long time. A knock came from her door “come in '' she said looking in the mirror as she got ready. Her outfit had some of the traditional robes but she managed to get it somewhat like her previous outfit. The door opened to reveal Anakin and Rex. Ahsoka looked up to them and smiled “hey…”
“You look great snips, this is the big day isn’t it.”
She nodded “yes, yes it is”
“You'll make a fine Jedi knight commander, I'm looking forward to working with you again someday.”
Ahsoka looked at Rex “it was an honor serving with you Rex but i'm gonna see if they’ll let me continue to work on Anakin's service for a while means i still have things I need to learn and besides I could use the company.”
Anakin pulled a small smile. “Maybe they will, we will just have to see.”
“I agree,” Ahsoka spoke.
Soon Anakin and Obi-Wan were both leading her to the council chambers once she entered it was pitch black she stepped forward until she was told to stop. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan had disappeared from her view when they entered the room.
Anakin stood by one of the walls; he couldn't be more proud of his padawan Ahsoka had accomplished so much and she would become a far greater Jedi than he ever hoped to be. He could see her and to be honest he wanted to hug her and tell her how proud he was of her. But words cant fully describe how proud he is. Ahsoka had stayed by his side from the very beginning and she was willing to work with him. Heck she wanted to be with him because she really believed that he could teach her. He did his best especially when she would annoy him but now she wasn’t that annoying child. Now she was an amazing young woman and he would do anything for her at this point.
Lightsabers activated around the room, brightening it. Anakin couldn’t help but smile when he saw Ahsoka looking his way. The ceremony began; Master Yoda stood above Ahsoka “by the force, and by the council, grant you the rank of knight I do.” Yoda then lowered his lightsaber to one of her shoulders then raised it to move it to her other shoulder. Ahsoka stood and immediately went to Anakin who had a massive grin on his face.
“Well snips, looks like youre a knight now the youngest one ever in our history.”
