2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter (softened)
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) in a bowl stir flour bakind soda and baking powder together. In a seperate bowl cream the butter and sugar together until smooth, mix in the egg and vanilla, gradually mixing in your dry ingredients. Roll teaspoons of cookie dough into balls and place the balls on an ungreesed cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes (i normally do nine and check) and let set for two minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool. Once cool decorate to your liking.
