Cale looked around at the battlefield.

All that was left was the debris falling from the destroyed temple that he now owned.

All that he could see was his fallen companions.

All that he could see was their mouths covered with blood.

All that he could see was their closed eyes as if they wouldn't wake up again.

All that he could hear was their breathing. Something he thought was only an illusion.

All he could feel....was...nothing.

Ah..my head hurts.

His cold eyes were fixed on the blood that was not his as he apathetically thought.

He closed his eyes as he heard a voice.

"Cale-nim-!"

"Human!"

Ah, it wasn't one but two voices. He opened his eyes again.

He didn't turn around. His eyes never left his half-conscious companions who laid on the ground.

Suddenly.

Sizzle sizzle--

A large rose-gold thunderbolt shot from the sky and landed just a few steps away from Cale, shattering away the debris around him yet it didn't even land a scratch on his companions.

"Cale-nim-! What kind of-!!"

"Human! Are you crazy--!!!?"

-Cale-! What was that?!

Drip.

Drip.

Blood trickled down the corner of Cale's mouth.

Cale felt his mind clear up at the momentary pain that was soon suppressed by the Vitality of the Heart.

The corner of his blood-stained lips curved up as he looked at those lying on the ground, looking at him with widened eyes.

"Let's get to your treatment now, shall we?"

For once, they felt chills down their spines seeing that smile, despite him not have used any of his dominating aura.

Cale looked at himself sitting on the bed through the mirror.

He looked at the very sight he hated the most.

It was his eyes. They looked exactly like when he used 'Record'.

Cold, hollow, emotionless.

Again.

For the third time, he had seen himself like that.

His lips curled up in self-mockery.

Aha. What should I do this time~?

Since he was left alone (he was not) for a moment, he might as well think about it.

The first time, he tried to survive.

The second time, he tried to survive.

Both of the times he lost, he survived.

Now that he almost lost, what should he do?

"What the fuck are you saying, Cale Henituse?"

Crown prince, Alberu Crossman looked at the smiling man in front of him.
