. : An hour beforehand : .

I barely remember what this fight was originally about but the smug look on his face alone was enough to make me want to hit him.

"Come on Camilo! He does this all the time just ignore him! Let's go to my house!" One of my friends shouted to me, standing aback from me and the troublesome boy in front of me. I knew that, this kid gets into fights a lot but I couldn't help but still be upset.

"Yeah, Madrigal. Go play with your buddy." He motioned his head to my friend. holding his hands behind his back slyly.

I growled under my breath. I tried to stay calm and be the bigger person but something about him always got on my nerves. I hated being around him, he was always starting something. He almost always got into fights and I've rarely seen him without a bruise on his arm or a black eye. The only reason I was around him now is because of some mutual friends and even then I wasn't very excited to be near him.

"Shut up or I'll make you." I pushed the sleeve of my shirt up above my elbows as if threatening him, a hand balling itself into an angry fist. He noticed this, his eyes trailing down to my arm and hand for a moment before he looked back up at me with a smirk plastering his face. He took a step towards me. "What? You gonna hit me?"

"What if I do?" I replied, trying my best to keep calm and not let it show that he was getting to me. He only laughed in response, making my eye twitch. "Oh I dare you!" He stepped towards me again, leaning into me. "Do it, I know you won't."

I had to look away from him to keep my anger down. Just looking at that smug smile on his face, how close he was to me made my face hot with what I could only assume was anger. "Leave before I hit you." I muttered. He lifted a hand that caught my attention, mostly because I thought it was reaching to hit me. He instead pointed at his cheek. "Go ahead, Madrigal. Hit me, you've got a good shot." His hand dropped a little and that disgusting smirk finally loosened. "So sad. We both know you're to nice to hit me."

The anger that had been simmering inside my gut finally began to boil up and become too much for me to control. Without thinking my arm reeled back and landed hard right where he was pointing.

He took a step to catch himself and stared at the ground for a second before he turned back up to me the biggest grin I've ever seen plastered along his face. "Now we're talking!!" He sounded excited before blasting an uppercut into my chin.

My head spun and I could feel my body switching forms before landing back on myself. "You little-..." I held back my tongue and pushed him away from me attempting to walk away. "Aww what? Scared you're mami will get upset?" He made a clearly fake gasp. "Is she gonna thunder at me?!"

I growled before turning around and punching him again, the smile staying on his face the entire time. Soon enough it became a full on brawl. That dumb grin never falling even for a second.

He'd punch me and I'd punch him back, he'd move to kick me or elbow my face but I'd somehow manage to dodge and get my own hits in. Soon enough he got a hard enough hit in and I swear I heard him chuckle when I wiped the blood from under my nose. He didn't even give me time to stop the bleeding before hitting me in the same spot.

I took a step back, both my hands holding my nose as my eyes squeezed shut. "You done?" He asked, I could hear hushed yet heavy breathing escape him. "You're bleeding Madrigal, not like you can hide this fight from your mamá." A growl escaped me once again. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and shot him a hefty glare. "Shut your mouth." Was all I could manage to say without blowing up on him completely.

I shoved him backwards until his back hit the brick wall. I heard the thud his head made when it hit the wall. His eyes closed and it made his smile faded for a second or two, but soon enough his eyes opened and he regained his cocky composure.

I could already see bruises starting to from on one of his cheeks and his eye. He looked down at me with that cocky smile still on his face. "Sorry, was that supposed to hurt?" He tilted his head when he spoke. "I can pretend if ya want."

Once again I reeled my arm back and punched him without thinking. My other arm loosened from his collar for just a moment though it was enough time for him to push me off of him and slip away from the wall. Sliding behind me before I could notice. He punched me hard in the back, making me lose my breath and stumble forward leaning against the wall.

I turned around, trying to face him, only to get a punch to the gut that pressed my body against the brinks behind me. Luckily I didn't hit my head like he did. He rested his forearm against my throat, pinning me to the wall, but never put any pressure to it unless I struggled. He may be a bully but I guess he's nice enough not to choke me out.

He lowered himself so his head was lower then mine, as if mocking my height. He looked up at me. "You're not very strong, Madrigal. Don't tell me you expect your gift to save you from everything."

"You're one to talk." I said with what little breath I had. He only smiled a little more at what I said. He wasn't moving as much, maybe he was finally tiring out? I gave him one last punch to the face and watched him stumble back onto the ground. Blood finally started to peek out from his nose, though his knuckles were already pretty messed up.

"Camilo Madrigal!" My face grew cold when I heard mami's voice. I peaked down at [Y/n] only to see that cocky look staring back at me. Did he know she was there? His cocky smile finally faded as he turned to my mother, still on the ground. "Camilo! Why are you hitting this boy?!"

"No mamá it's not what you think! He-." She cut me off and walked over to the two of us. "Hijo, no." a dark cloud formed above her head and I quickly shut my mouth. She leaned down and searched [Y/n]'s face for any blood besides his nose. "Are you okay?"

"Don't worry about me ma'am, I'm fine." His sudden calm pissed me off. My hand balled into a fist but I hid it from mi madre. She put a hand on the back of his head for a second but quickly moved it away. She immediately pulled out a handkerchief from the pocket of her dress and held it to the back of his head. "You're bleeding chicho." He gave her a small thanks before holding the handkerchief for himself and slowly standing to his feet.

"Mami! He-." I tried to argue but when I heard thunder I once again shut my mouth. I soon saw mi padre appear in the same entrance way mamá came from. "mijo, you're bleeding what happened?" He asked but soon saw [Y/n] and the angry look on mami's face and seemed to understand. "Ay, mijo what did you do?"

Soon enough they led me and the boy in front of the library and sat us down. His father found his son bleeding and didn't seem surprised what so ever. What an idiot. That kid pisses me off.
