At that moment I felt the heavy weight lifting from my chest and a sense of accomplishment flooded through me.

Ace stepped back a little due to the force I used in slamming into him but he regained his stance and wrapped his hand around me to steady and pull me to him.

Wrapping my hand around his neck, I pulled him down to me, wanting to spell it out to every darn person in this school.

I didn't care if he was a nerd.

Not anymore.

I didn't care if he was weird.

I didn't care if he was of a lower class.

All I cared about is the fact that my heart wouldn't stop longing for him.

Pulling away for air Ace held my face with a questioning look in his eyes. "What are you doing?"

"What are you doing?" I shot back looking down at his unclad arms.

"Callum happened, he took my jacket and the sleeves were in the pockets so, I had to come out like this. I have to be home in..." he looked at the watch on his wrist, "three minutes. What about you?"

"My friends found out about us so what else was I waiting for?" I shrugged. "Check your phone."

He fished it from his pocket and unlocked it, opening the new message that came in a minute ago.

He opened the video and I helped him skip to the part where we were talking. He paused the video and looked at me, a smirk on his face.

He kissed me again before taking my hand in his, "you ready to go home?"

"More than I'll ever be," I said with a smirk of my own.

Walking down the halls hand in hand felt surreal, I'd been waiting for this moment for a long time and even though the circumstances that lead to it weren't what I imagined but it was happening and I couldn't care less about anything.

The whispers didn't stop, they only increased as walked out toward the exit. When we got to where my friends were Ace stopped and walked towards Callum.
