"I'll just be gone for a few weeks, you'll be just fine without me," I tell him, enjoying his warm embrace.
"And you're sure you don't want me to come with you?" I loosen my grip around his torso lightly to look up at him. "I'm sure. My family is boring. It's enough for one of us to be suffering for a whole week." He chuckles lightly at my statement. "Besides, you have a kingdom to run," I say, standing on the balls of my feet to place a kiss on his lips. His arms tighten around my waist and he kisses back lovingly.
As we part our foreheads rest against each other and he sighs. "How am I supposed to survive without you, huh?" I shrug, "well, you'll still have Thierry and Diego to keep you company." He chuckles at that and I kiss him again.
"I have to go now," I say against his lips and he sighs again. "Ugh, fine. But you have to call me as soon as you've arrived."
"Okay," I kiss him for the last time and start walking backward out of the compound. "I love you," he tells me and I smile, "I love you, too."
With that, I turn and walk to my car with my last bag in hand.
