Chapter 5

Miles walks into his room with tears running down his face and stifling back sobs as he packs up his clothes and drawings taking down all his childhood memories and packing it away with the worst reason for doing so... being kicked out of your childhood home

Meanwhile with Gwen and Peni

Gwen's POV
As I hold a sleeping Peni going to my apartment I remember I need to hurry to go back to miles and help him pack so I head to my door and unlock it and take Peni to her room lay her down and kiss her forehead before telling her i will be back soon and to go back to sleep because she woke up a little when I set her down 

She obeys and I leave and head to miles house to hear a lot of yelling when I get there and to my surprise the door is unlocked so I go into miles room and see him crying on the floor with a half packed suitcase on his bed so I knock to make him aware of my presence and go hug and kiss him and sit on the floor with him for a minute before helping him pack the rest of his things

While I help him pack he speaks "where will I go Gwen I have nowhere else to go" he asks still shaking slightly "I know a place you will love"
He doesn't ask or say anything else after that

Narrators POV
Miles and Gwen finish packing his room and grab the suitcase off his bed along with the box he managed and head out the door without a word and Gwen says "follow me, i know a safe place" Miles doesn't ask questions and follows Gwen to her apartment

"Suprise" Gwen says in a quite voice to Miles "Gwen is this how I have seen you more, Babe do you live here full time?" Miles says looking at Gwen "Yeah I got it last week because I want to adopt Peni when I turn 18 so we can live here full time" Miles has the biggest and brightest smile on his face as he goes and picks up Gwen in a hug as she wraps her legs around his waist and arms around his neck laughing happily

"This feels like a dream" Miles says as he places Gwen back on the ground "Peni is here right?" He adds on "Yeah she is in her room sleep- never mind" Gwen says as she sees Peni open her door rubbing her eyes "Hey mija, come here, why are you awake" Miles says in a quote voice as he hugs and picks her up "I heard you guys when I woke up so I came in here" Peni says tiredly

"Well, I'm sorry let's get you back to sleep" Miles says taking her back to her room as Gwen follows behind slowly and quietly "Hey, Miles come to the living room when she falls asleep

5 mins later

Miles comes out of Peni's room as quiet as possible and walks over to the couch and sits
next to Gwen who is just waiting on her phone and sat it down when Miles sat down and crawled on his lap and cuddled him  "Miles I know your not okay let it out" she says and Miles breaks right there "Okay fine I'm not okay I was just not wanting Peni to see me like that" He says with tears streaming down his face

"I know Miles I did the same thing" Gwen says feeling bad about what happened with his dad "Let's unpack your stuff and lay down you will feel better" Gwen suggests and Miles agrees as Gwen leads him to a room
